That night was terrible. I could barely sleep. The thought that someone else would be holding that shield sickened me. At around 5:00 AM, I got a text from Sam Wilson.
Sam Wilson
5:07 am
S: Hey. I've got a situation that I don't think I can handle on my own. I need your help. Meet me at the hangar at 8:00 am?
I thought closely about what I should say next. I did need to start getting out and helping again, but I had problems of my own.
E: I'll be there :)
I groaned before rolling out of bed and walking over to my closet. I threw open the doors and searched my clothes. I finally found what I was looking for and pulled it out, laying it down on my bed.
I ran my fingers over the black leather with light orange seams. My suit was skin tight pants with a top that tucked into the pants, skin tight sweetheart neckline long sleeve. I had matching boots and gloves that I sometimes wore when I wanted to feel more in control of my powers.
I called down to the front desk of my apartment so they could call a car for me. Once I got off the phone, I slipped on my tight suit and pushed all my clothes on the rack in my closet aside, revealing a hidden door.
My hand applied pressure onto the door until I heard a soft click and the door opened. I walked into the hidden room that I had built in my apartment, the room where I kept my weapons. I put a belt around my waist and filled it with the things I normally need when I go on a mission, like a gun, taser, and other things for fighting.
Suddenly, a voice rang through my apartment from my intercom. "Ms. Moore, your car is here." I walked out of the room and placed my clothes over the hidden door and went over to the intercom where I pressed the talk back button.
"Thank you, I'll be down shortly." I grabbed a large overcoat from my hanger and put it on over my suit and walked out of my apartment.
"Good Morning Charlie." I said to my driver as I got into the car. He gave me a smile before pulling away from the curb and getting on the road.
Part of me wanted to text Bucky, to see if he was going to be there, but I didn't want him to get in the middle of something he doesn't need to be in the middle of. I sighed and rested my head against my seat, looking out the window.

We finally pulled up to the hangar where Sam was waiting for me right outside. A big smile appeared on my face when I saw him. Even though we saw each other just a few nights ago, we didn't really get time to catch up, I did kinda have a ton of stuff going on that night.
As the car was rolling at a stop, I jumped out of the backseat and ran up to him, throwing my arms around him. He gave me a tight squeeze back and we stayed in the hug for a few moments.
We pulled away from each other, smiles still on our faces. "I'm glad you showed up."
"I'm glad you asked me for help." We started walking inside as Charlie pulled away. "So, what was it? Got your ass kicked one too many times?"
He laughed sarcastically. "I'm the one doing the ass kicking by the way. And what we're dealing with is beyond what I can do. Torres, wanna catch her up?" The other man walking beside us handed me a tablet with a symbol on it.
"They're called the Flag Smashers. They've been planning attacks all over Europe." He tapped the screen and a video played of a man at an attack. "We know at least one of their followers is a super soldier." The man in the video kicked someone and sent them across the town square.
