Prison's Tough (1/2)

Warnings: Cursing, poorly described medical procedures, OOC!Sam, The plot went from can see this happening to okay why the fuck does character being hurt play such a big part in this.

Dream whimpered quietly as he held up his fists in a fighting position. The guy across from him was definitely more built for fighting than dream, he must've worked out in prison. Dream was fairly scrawny and being only 5'3 Vs a 6'2 guy was scary. He knew Sam was supposed to be on duty, but he couldn't spot the 6'1 man anywhere nearby. So when the fight began, Dream was easily shoved down, his knees scraping against the ground, ripping his jumpsuit and hurting him in the process. The guy just smirked as tears sprung to the little's eyes, yet no sound came out, but before any other damage could be done. Sam's whistle blew and a voice cut through the small gathering that was shouting 'beat the bitch boy!'

Sam was unaware of the chaos going on untill he got off his break, walking into the cafeteria and seeing the few other guards laugh and chuckle as a fight broke out. He was immediately pissed and blew his guards whistle, running forward to figure out what was happening. As soon as he saw the two, anger boiled in him. "GET THE FUCK OUT THE MAIN HALL! ALL OF YOU-! OFF OF HIM!" Sam easily shoved through the people there and pulled the large male away from dream, calling to another guard to bring the guy to his cell, saying that he would bring dream to his after going to the medicine unit. He crouched in front of dream before mumbling out a whisper to him, " I'm so sorry, you're gonna be ok, alright? just fallow me bud," and with that he pulled dream up, leading him to a privet med unit

Dream whimpered softly, following the other without much resistance, minus the occasional stop because his knee hurt. He knew it could've ended much worse, as last time he almost ended up with a broken bone, but was grateful that Sam stepped in when he did. He stayed mostly silent, feeling too small to talk, though he wasn't sure if Sam was actually aware of that or not. He had always liked Sam, and he was easily Dream's favourite guard. Most of the other guards would either be mad at him if he made any type of sound, take advantage of him since he couldn't defend against any of the taller men and women or just tell him to 'suck it up' if he got hurt in a fight (a very one-sided fight at that), but Sam never seemed to do that, showing genuine care and worry for the short boy.

Sam was leading dream to the med unit and when he got there with dream he sighed and looked to him, glancing over all the wounds. he picked dream up gently onto the counter before grabbing a first aid kit and starting to speak, " are you ok dream? Where did you get hurt most, and if you need you can just point.", Sam had been quickly catching on to dreams littlespace as he helped dream constantly with whatever he could. He felt bad whenever he got hurt and would almost always help him if he could get away with it.

Dream sniffled softly, pointing to his knee, hands and elbows, where there was blood had dried and the jumpsuit had ripped in multiple places. "Ouchies.." he mumbled, rubbing at his teary eyes. He knew the drill at this point, as this happened damn near every day, but he always liked it best when Sam could help him, but at least Sam being his main guard for his cell meant he got to hang out with the other a lot!

Sam nodded and opened the first aid, " take off the top of your jumpsuit please," he was grabbing out bandages and disinfectants to clean the other's wounds, worrying much for the male. He knew he shouldn't get close to inmates- hell of he was found out he would probably lose his job, but at the same time, her couldn't just let a little do this alone... Or he could, just not morally.
