"I'm Mirio Togata!" The blonde third-year cried cheerfully as he concluded the introduction of U.A's "Big Three." Alongside him stood the beautiful and bubbly, blue-haired Nejire Hado and the ever so timid Tamaki Amajiki.
They were the three powerhouses of U.A, showing how brilliant and strong they were as they would become new pro-heroes after this school year. I smiled, watching the three interact with each other despite Tamaki's reserved aura, he had taken to facing the wall and avoiding us in general. Nejire was being rudely inquisitive, but it couldn't be helped with the intense curiosity behind her eyes. She questioned Shoji's reasoning for wearing a mask and Todoroki's and I's scar.
"How'd you get that scar, Reyna?" Nejire asked, prodding at it gently while I sighed, I wasn't annoyed, just confused to why she was so adorably intrusive.
"When I got kidnapped," I replied coolly, noticing the way her face dropped as she blushed in embarrassment. She backed away, allowing Tamaki to glance at me briefly before Mirio regained everyone's attention with, "Heads up! The rad new plan is all you first years fight me at once!"
I chuckled, facing Izuku as I gave him a slight wink. He reddened, returning the smile while we took in the class's reaction to Mirio's demand.
We all gathered at the gym in our uniforms, observing the head of the Big Three stretch while Sero muttered, "Is he for real?"
"Seems so, Tape Boy. Bakugo, do you-" I stopped, realizing that he was still on house arrest after his fight with Izuku. I was well aware of what they fought about, but Bakugo would only hate me if I tried to comfort him. When he spoke of it, he basically threatened me to secrecy of his feelings so I said nothing more.
I frowned, listening to Mirio beckononing the first person to challenge him.
"I'm first." Izuku spoke, crouching with a fierce glare as he prepared to launch at Mirio. I grinned at my boyfriend, enjoying the way his confidence grew since I first met him. He had those brilliant green sparks flying all over his body so I knew his quirk was activated, "You better win this, Deku." I told him with an encouraging look.
Izuku swung a powerful kick but it went completely through Mirio's head and missed. He was naked, and I squeaked, covering my face while Izuku glanced to see if I had noticed Mirio's lack of clothing while Sero shot out tape towards the third year.
"I think I'll start by taking out the long-distance fighters!" Mirio shouted happily, and with that, our short-lived battle against him began.
He removed everyone by dodging their attacks with his body that would vanish when anyone came in contact with him, he punched all of us, and only a few recovered from his heavy blows. I dodged the first two attempts he laid towards me, matching his speed as I deflected him with vines and stone.
Only a few of us were standing as I heard Uraraka whimpering in fear. I was beside Izuku, both of us noticing the way he plunged through the Earth.
I stuck a vine in, detecting the area he would come out from as Izuku and I turned, both launching our bodies towards the blue-eyed student. He seemed surprised that we figured out where he would appear but stuck his ghost-like arm all throughout Izuku's leg, startling him by jabbing his translucent hands through his eyes.
I saw the other arm solidify and swing towards Deku and I, quickly, forced a vine to wrap around his legs, surprising him as I wrapped stone over his hand. He missed my abdomen but found Izuku's, sending him flying as I retreated back into the ground, hearing Iida crying for his friend.
