3rd Person's point of view~
The echoes of Alice's foot steps was the only sound that could be heard through the deep empty corridor. Her eyes locked straight ahead but really she wasn't there. She was in her own head listening to the only thing she could hear, her heart beat from the amount of internal anxiety she was experiencing. Making her way to The Great Hall for her own sorting ceremony, she was nervous and having a million and one thoughts at once. In that moment Alice collided with a person who came around the corner, and landed back on her bottom with a hard thud.
"Oof" Alice groaned quietly. After realizing what has happened her head snapped to the induvial who stood before her. He stood tall with icy blonde hair and a cold pale face. He wore black robe with green lining that opened showing his white dress shirt and dark pants. He didn't even budge from coalition, the only thing that was out of place was the book that was once in his hand is now on the floor at his feet.
"I'm terribly sorry, are you alright?" She said swiftly getting up from the floor stepping forward with concern for the boy. He took a step back as she went towards him, his face was painted a look of outrageousness.
"Watch where you're going" He spat as snatched the book off the floor and stood over her once again. Her lips parted as she took in a sharp breathe from his rude remark. She closed her eyes for a moment before smiling softly and beaming up towards him.
"I'm sorry, please forgive me. I wasn't paying attention." She softly spoke as if she was afraid of breaking the air if it were glass. For a split moment the boy's tense face eased for a moment before hardening once again. He rolled his eyes and stomped off down the hallway without another word and disappeared around another corner. Alice looked down at her feet and took a deep breathe before continuing her way to The Great Hall.
"Not off to a great start, but it could have been worse." She thought to herself
~Draco's Point of View~
"Late once again, I don't even understand why we need to be there-" I was cut off from my thoughts as came around the corner someone collided with me, I was able to stand my ground only losing my book on the floor.
"Great." Was my first thought until I looked over my shoulder at the individual on the ground. It was a girl who had long blonde hair that covered most of her face until she looked up at me slightly. The moment we locked eyes her head snapped in my direction and she quickly brought herself from the floor.
"I'm terribly sorry, are you alright?" She said with such worry as if I was the one on the floor hurt, I took a swift step back as she came closer to me. My anger kicked in before I had a moment to process what she said to me.
"Watch where you're going." I huffed in annoyance with this girl. I snatched my book off the floor before looking back at her, she looked taken off guard by my words but to my surprise she smiled and said "I'm sorry, please forgive me. I wasn't paying attention". That's when for a moment it clicked, she's the one everyone has been talking about The Gracious Pacifist.
"What a joke" I thought as I looked at her. "She can't even walk down a hallway without crashing into someone, how is she supposed to bring peace? There is no such thing" I scoffed at the thought and walked down the hallway leaving the girl where she stood.
~Alice's Point of View~
I stood in front of these large wooden doors, behind the closed doors laid everyone else. I undid the belt to my jacket and straightened my coat collier and tugged on my shirt until it was where it satisficed me. I raised my head and stood with my arms by my sides and attempted to put on my bravest face.
