I woke up in my tent and I was somehow changed into my pajamas. I hoped that Katara was the one that did that for me but I had a sneaking feeling that that wasn't the case. I quickly got up and got dressed. I saw my longbow and quiver neatly lane on the table. Alongside them was my sheath with my dagger and my rapier. I really geared myself up a bit too much for the trip yesterday, but one could never be too safe, I suppose.

I wandered outside my tent and saw that Katara was flaunting Aang in front of the entire village. I glanced around and saw that everyone was too impressed to notice me leave. I walked to the place that I always loved to spend my free time. I sat on the edge of the small cliff overlooking the water with my sketchpad and charcoal in hand. I began drawing and before I knew it, I had a perfect picture of the boy from my visions. The one with the scar on his eye. He was really handsome, but he looked angry. And that ponytail wasn't doing him any favors. I just smirked and rolled the page up, placing it in my bag.

I started another drawing, but before it really got anywhere, I heard someone walking up behind me. I quickly threw down my pad and unsheathed my rapier, pointing the tip at Gran-Gran. She hardly even flinched. "You can put that down, I'm no threat to you." I sighed and lowered my weapon. "Katara and the airbender boy went off after penguins." She chuckled softly to herself. "Why aren't you spending any time with them? You were with them when they found the boy, weren't you?"

"Yeah. I don't know, I'm just overwhelmed. This boy seems dangerous. I just feel so unsure having him around. I will just be glad once he leaves." I sighed and dangled my legs over the edge of the cliff. "Do you think he might-" My sentence was cut off before I could finish. I saw off in the distance a huge flare fired into the sky. It was as bright as the sun. "He signaled the fire-navy." I jumped up and took off toward the village, Gran-Gran tailing behind me as fast as she could.

I got there as Katara was getting in Sokka's face. "Aang didn't do anything! It was an accident!" Everyone was arguing back and forth about who's fault it was when finally Sokka stepped in front of everyone.

"The foreigner is banished from our village." Katara went over to Aang and insisted that if he was banished, she was too. "Katara, would you really choose some stranger over your family?" Aang said something too quietly for me to hear to Katara and she slowly came back over to us, tears in her eyes. She pushed past me and back into the village as Aang walked away with Appa.

About an hour or so passed before Sokka stood himself on the top of the wall. I had all of my weapons equipped and my bow was already in hand, an arrow nocked. The ground began to shake as gasps were heard throughout the village. "Everyone be careful!" I stood my ground a few feet away from the wall, my eyes on Sokka as he faced the ship head on. He didn't even move as the wall slid away underneath him. "Sokka, get out of the way!" I ran over and pulled him back from the ship as the front opened up to reveal fire nation soldiers.

And I recognized the one in the front. The boy with the scar. I let go of Sokka and quickly moved myself behind everyone else in the village. Sokka ran at the soldiers and attacked with little to no skill. Finally, as a last ditch attempt, he threw his boomerang, missing horribly. The boy stepped forward. "Where are you hiding him?" No one even breathed, much less said an answer. He reached forward and grabbed Gran-Gran, yanking her away from in front of me. "He'd be about this age. Master of all elements?" Still no one spoke. His eyes panned across the crowd. "I know you're hiding him!"

His eyes finally landed on me. He pushed Gran-Gran back over to Katara who held her in her arms. The boy removed his helmet and walked over to me, tossing it aside onto the snow. I raised my bow to him and he froze in place. "Not another step." He didn't make another move. He just stared at me.
