Warmth (Around Novenber 2020)

You can try all you want,
But fire leaves marks on the skin
So talk all you want
and I can feel your fire within.
You scorched me with your heat
So please don't leave
I can feel the warmth leave with you
So honey please
Warmth through the dark
Is different than warmth during the day
So lie all you want
but I can see it on your face
How your passion bubbles
And your anger grows
But to me
You are beautiful all on your own
Deep and mysterious as I try to be
For you anyone can see through me
Try as I must to keep my fire going
You lend me some of yours
So nowhere, am I going
Stay with me through the night
And as much as we try to fight
It will be you that I call
When I'm tired and alone
And I hope it will be me
You call during your darkest times
Because the fire in my heart doesn't lie
So share the warmth we must
During the darkest times
I will share my fire
When yours goes out
Love I'm not gonna leave
When times get tough.
