Third Person POV

⁕⁕⁕

Dipti and Rahul made it to the parking lot in silence, which was composed of the occasional glances at each other. Her red lips were slightly swollen from her habit of biting them, she smiled at him, which he returned. The rain began pattering down on them, she shivered and her body instinctively moved towards KL for warmth. He'd welcomed this gesture by placing his arms around her, tugging her closer to him.

"That's my friend's car." She groaned, watching a white car speed away from us. "Traitor."

"I hate you, Jhanvi." She called out, A chuckle escaped Rahul's lips. She twisted her head and shot her menacing glare at him. Suddenly, the two of them realized the proximity between each other, neither Rahul nor Dipti seemed to mind it. KL's darkened gaze flicked to her lips. Dipti's hesitation was obvious,

"I'll be gentle," He promised before seeking her permission, and she nodded slightly. This was enough, he swooped down like a bird of prey and captured her lips. His hands placed on her waist, and hers snaked around his neck. He broke apart due to a nuisance called lack of oxygen, but he didn't waste a second and kissed her once more.

Dipti (Or should I say Amrita's)'s eyes fluttered open,

She winced a little, massaging her temple. She had one hell of a hangover. Her mind wandered to Rahul, wondering where he was. It was only then that she had registered her surroundings, this wasn't her little apartment. She glanced about rapidly, glancing down on herself. She was clothed, thank gods!

She was dressed in a sweatshirt and sweatpants, how she got into those, she'd asked herself later. First, she needed to get out of here.

"Morning, Doll."

In an instant, the girl whirled around to face the man. Her heart skipped a beat or two, there KL Rahul was in his shirtless glory. Amrita's mind had processed the situation slowly, but she made the connection, KL Rahul was Rahul's The Knight In Shining Suit.

"I'd better go." She manages to stutter out, "My roommate is probably looking for me."

A frown tugged at his lips, he leaned towards her. Her heart rate doubled, but instead of kissing her. He placed his lips near her ear and whispered, "If your worried something happened, nothing did."

"I'll be the judge of that," She gained a torn dignity and scrapped up her remaining confidence. He settled onto an armchair, with a much too amused facial expression. "We kissed a couple of times but that's bout it." His shoulders rose in a shrug.

Dipit bit down on the inside of her cheek, wondering what to do. "Where's my phone?"

"Probably in your handbag." Rahul piped in helpfully, she shot him a withering look but he smiled, refusing to be withered. She fished out her phone and saw a couple dozen messages from Jhanvi. The first few were demanding where she was, the next were asking if she was getting laid. And the final message was one hell of a statement, 'ur prob getting laid, ttyl'.

She gathered her clothes, placing them neatly in the bag. Her obsession of organization peeking out, "Where are you going?" Rahul quizzed, Dipti ignored him.

"Hello?" He had risen from the armchair, "I asked you a question,"

"Where I go isn't your business," She retorted with a momentary glare, Rahul had blocked her path to the door.

"I'm gonna need an explanation doll." He grunted with his arms folded, "You couldn't keep your hands off me, but now, suddenly so repulsive?"

"I was drunk, and now I'm not." She spat out quite bluntly, Rahul's lips curved into a smile.

"Your one hell of an interesting women, Dipti." He ran a hand through his hair, his eyes stuck on her as he watched her with fascination. She started towards the door, sparing a glance towards the cricketer. He'd pulled on a sweatshirt, and fumbled about, looking for something.

"Looking for your bat?" Dipti couldn't help but take a dig at him. "It's about a foot long, and extremely hard."

"I know something else that's a foot long and extremely hard," He flashed her a wink, color rose to her cheeks as she quickly glanced away.

"But I'm looking for my car keys," He diverted the topic much to the flustered girl's relief. "I'll drop you off."

She shook her head instantly, "No, thank you."

"Why not?" He arched an eyebrow, She responded with a wary glance.

"Fair enough." He shrugged, "Can I at least get your name and number"

"Nope," She smiled sweetly, stepping out of the room and slamming the door behind her. Leaving him smiling, let the hunt begin.
