MOMMA WAKE UP!

It was a new day Julia ran down the steps into the kitchen where her mother was sitting and drinking her morning coffee "Good morning sweet pea" her mother smiled "Good morning mother " she replied back while eating a piece of toast. "You seem very happy this morning" Her mother smiled with a chuckle."I'm very excited for school today because I get to see my best friend!" Julia squealed her mother laughed.

It was now nearing the end of the day Julia and Nathan are doing their group project that was due tomorrow when the principal came in a started talking to your teacher Julia was quite distracted by this until she heard her name. Julia turned towards where the voice was coming from and saw her best friend Nathan who had a worried expression Julia was never the one to get too distracted so it was kind of worrying that she was now."Julia are you okay?" Nathan asked her. "Oh um yeah I'm fine. Why do you ask?"she said slightly confused."well you kind of zoned out while looking at Ms.Catherine and principal Jackson"he said with a slight blush on his face."Y-Yeah i'm fine i just got a little distracted is all." Said Julia."That's the thing you never get distracted so easily something must be wro-" just as Nathan was about to finish what he was saying principal Jackson called Julia's name "Julia sweetheart can you come with me and please bring your stuff with you you might not be coming back to class later." Julia's principal said while still standing next to her teacher who had a worried like expression. Julia was very confused along with her best friend they both looked at each other then back at the two adults. Julia gathered her stuff and said her goodbye to Nathan and walked with the principal."What happened Ms.Jackson"Julia asked scared and not knowing what was to come. Ms.Jackson said nothing to the confused young girl. Julia and her principal walked into the main office and there sitting in the chair was Julia's aunt rose her moms sister. Julia noticed that her dear aunt was crying and ran over and hugged her."Aunt rose what are you doing here and why are you crying?" The young girl asked."sweetie your coming to live with me and grandma,is that okay with you little lotus?" asked Julia's aunt rose through sniffles."Yes but why where is mommy is she away on another trip from work?"asked the 10 year old girl."No she's not on another trip little lotus." said the young girls aunt.

Julia and her aunt were in the car they were going somewhere but Julia didn't know where. After a while they were at a hospital the same hospital that her father was in when he passed away Julia was utterly confused as of why they were there."Auntie why are we at the hospital?" The brown haired girl asked." we are here because your mother is here." said the young girls aunt." Oh cool mamma works here now?!" Julia asked full of excitement."No not really. she doesn't work here but she's here, let's go inside." Aunt Rosetta said grabbing the young girls hand and walking in the building."Hello who are you here to see?" asked a lady at the front desk."We are here to see Maddison smith." said aunt rose."and who is she to you?" asked the lady." She is my little sister and her daughter." Aunt rose stated while motioning to the both of you." what are your names?" asked the lady while still typing on her computer."I am Rosetta Smith." said Rosetta."And my name is Julia Smith!" the young Julia. The lady looked at the young girl then grabbed a lolly and put in front of the young girl to take "would you like a lolly Julia?" asked the lady at the desk. Julia looked up to her aunt for approval in which she nodded. Julia took the lolly."Thank you miss." said the young girl."you're so very welcome sweetie"The nice woman smiled and went back to talking to the little girls aunt.

After a few minutes Julia and her aunt were in the lift to go to the second floor. They were now walking through the hallway to the hospital room that Julia's mother was in.after a lot of walking they finally made it to the room,they entered the room and the first thing that Julia saw would haunt her forever. It was her mother connected to a bunch of cords and needles and a beeping machine. Julia slowly walked over to the bed where her mother lay. "Mommy?" asked the small girl climbing onto the chair next to the bed. Julia shook her mother's arm her mother didn't move not an inch. Julia soon noticed how cold her mother's skin was Julia shook her mother's arm a little harder but still no response. Julia was now crying. Aunt rose found this scene very devastating her very young niece crying over her mother in the hospital after losing her father a week ago in the same exact hospital. Aunt Rosetta heard a very loud and long beeping sound that's when she noticed it. Her baby sister flat lined and her niece is crying and still shaking her mother and yelling for her to wake up. "MOMMY PLEASE WAKE UP PLEASE I NEED YOU!" yelled the young Julia. Julia may be young but she still understood pain and death so for a young 10 year old little girl knowing that both of her parents were gone really scared the small girl. A bunch of doctors rushed into the room asking the two females tho leave the room.
