It was the day of Maddison's funeral, And Julia and her family was at the church. Everyone was hurt but not really crying. As for Julia she was hurt the most, she lost both of her parents she felt like she had no one. Julia was broken she didn't know what to do she was going through so much at such a young age. At the gathering after the ceremony Julia didn't want to be bothered although a lot of people were trying to comfort her she knew they were doing it out of pity she hated when people did things out of pity for her knowing the didn't care before but now they do, she knew they never cared for her or her family, but little did Julia know that there was someone there that she never thought would be there." hey...um are you okay?" Said the mysterious person " whoever you are go away" Julia stated as she was wrapped in a blanket on the couch and couldn't see anything. The mysterious voice chuckled and removed the blanket from her face" Now is that any way to talk to your best friend?" said the owner of the voice. Julia looked at the person standing in front of her and her eyes widened at the sight.
Julia instantly jumped into the unknown person's arms as they smiled sadly." Nathan!" Julia cried as she hugged the boy tightly as he returned the hug. All of Julia's family was watching the sight some scowling and some smiling but as her aunt and grandmother watched the sight of the two young ones hugging one another they were happy to see her smiling again. " Um excuse me little boy but who are you and why are you here?" asked one of Julia's family members. " I'm Nathan Julia's best friend, I just came here to comfort Julia" Nathan said while still holding the crying girl in his arms.
