Shy And Bold

Chapter 2

After some time, the shy one texted the bold one to know if she is coming for the last two classes or not, but then there was no reply.

College was ended and there was complete silence from the bold one.

The shy girl was now getting anxious because she does not know if the bold one was alright or not. She doesn't even know the location of the bold one.

What was she going to say to the parents?

What if something is wrong with her best friend?

For how long she will handle everything at home?

All these questions were coming into her mind and she was continuously calling the bold one. But there was no reply.

The shy one went back home.

She told everyone that the bold one misses the bus, and she will come late.

The time passed, the parents and the shy one was getting really worried now.

Then the shy one realized that now is the time, to tell the truth as it was getting dark outside.

She knew they both would be scolded and punished, but the safety of her best friend was more important than anything else.

Both the parents went to search around the town but didn't find her. Now the whole town knew that the girl was missing.

It was midnight and nobody knew anything about the bold one.

The shy girl was cursing herself for letting the bold one go alone or supporting her plan for this adventure.

Many people of the town were gathered near their house.

The parents saw people coming from the window

Some people started spreading different rumors in town... One said these kids do not care about their parents.

Another said the girl must have gone for fun and here the parents are getting worried for her.

Another said maybe she had run away from her house, as she might not be treated well by her parents.

Another said maybe she is involved in something wrong...

When the shy one heard this line, she gets up and comes in front of everyone.

" Can you all just realize for a second that one of our family members is missing right now?

So can you all stop giving these pathetic reasons?

Are you all here to console and support our families in this difficult time,

or are you here to humiliate my sister?

I know her. If she is not here, then she might be in some trouble or got stuck in some kind of situation.

There would be a strong right reason for not coming back home until now.
No one should say anything against my friend."

There was complete silence in the crowd, as nobody was expecting a bold step by shy one.

Suddenly there was a clap from the crowd, and it was the bold one coming,

actually running from the middle of the crowd.

"I am proud of you, my shy one. Trust me, I had also come with a reason that will make you proud too."

"I trust you, my friend," The shy one said to the bold one.

The bold one came to the family members and they all hug each other. They all take a sigh of relief after seeing the bold one fine.

"So firstly I am sorry to my parents that I went outside without their permission.

I am sorry mom and dad, you were worried and stressed because of me."

"I am late because there was an accident that happened outside the town.

"One old man and a child were badly injured."

"Nobody was there on the road, so I and my friends helped them."

"The hospital was far away so we took them to the hospital, inform their family.

Once we were told that they both are fine and their families had arrived, we came back to our homes."

"I am not telling this to be praised. I am telling you this to let you know that don't ever blame anyone without knowing the truth.

Be humble when someone is suffering from a problem or stress.

All the people standing there clapped for the girl and apologized to the girl's parents.

The next day the bold one told the shy one, "you did magic last night."

The shy one said: "You too, Friend."

The bold one asked the shy one, "what was that, in fact, where does that strong voice come from?"

The shy one said: "From INSIDE."

They laughed and promised each other, never to hide anything from their parents.
