Sm Entertainment and Artist Company have announced that Park Hae Jun and Girls' Generation's Song Eunkyung tied the knot yesterday in an extremely private event in which the couple invited their close friends and family in a secret ceremony to ensure that they would be able to enjoy the moment with their friends and families without having to worry about paparazzi trying to invade and publicise their wedding.

Yesterday our client Park Hae Jin and his newlywed wife Song Eunkyung officially tied the knot in a private ceremony with the company of their close friends and family.

On the other hand Eunkyung's agency SM Entertainment released the the following statement:
"Hello. This is SM Entertainment.
We are announcing news regarding Girls' Generation's Eunkyung.
Eunkyung and her newlywed husband Park Haejin married yesterday, July 10th 2024. The couple wedded in a private ceremony where only close friends of the couple and their families were present
Eunkyung will continue to show great activities as a member of Girls' Generation and as a artist/actress.
We ask for many blessings to be sent to the couple, who have started a new chapter in their lives.
Thank you."
After the releases of the statements Hye Jin and Eunkyung both released letters to their fans.
Park Hae Jin's letter read:
"I made a precious friend, a few years back who has spent happy memories with me. Over time, we grew feelings towards each other and confirmed our sincere feelings for each other by becoming a couple who love each other.
At the end of 2023, we made a promise to each other to spend the rest of our lives together.
We'll fill what we each lack with love, and we'll live a new life where we can face difficulties together. I married Song Eunkyung yesterday, 09 August, 2024.
I wanted to let you all know of my sincere intentions earlier, but it's not something I can decide on my own.
My wife's opinions are also precious to me, and it was a situation where We both had to think carefully and we had to think throughly about what we should do to together.
I have an upcoming project that involved many people's passion and efforts, and as an actor, I didn't want my personal life to negatively affect the film crew and staff.
