"Greene." Jade heard one of the guards call
"Yeah." He said jogging over to the voice he recognised to be a guard names Damien
"Your lawyers here." He informed her "Cool." He said following behind him
"Jade." Jonathan said shaking jades hand "What's up man." He said with a smile
"I have good news." He said with a cheerful smile "Really?" He asked a little confused
"When your house was raided you, Ashton and shaniyah were assaulted."
"What?"
"You were called racial slurs, shaniyah was pepper spayed and restrained for no reason and Ashton was handled badly." He said
"What does this mean?"
"It means that Fifteen year deal we was hoping for just turned into a Nine year deal."
"Tell me you're playing." He asked tears falling down his face rapidly
"They wanted you to serve the last year that was left but Shaniyah wrote a letter about her trauma."
"Shaniyah did that for me?" He asked in disbelief "She said that her sons need their dad."
"Greene come get your stuff." Damien said with a smile leading him back to his cell
"Thanks man." Jade
"Stay outta trouble Greene." Damien said hugging him before he left with his things, walking outside to Jonathan's car
"So I already booked an appointment at the barbershop so we're gonna head there and I bought some new shit for you and then we can go to Elianas."
"Yh." He said leaning back he didn't mean to sound rude or ungrateful but man being locked up for five years isn't something you can just forget in 30 or 45 minutes.
"I know this must be hard for you but me and everyone else are here for you." Jonathan said whilst focusing on the road
"I know." He mumbled closing his trying to find some sense of peace but none came
"Jade come here boy!" Ronald, jades uncle called as soon as him and Jonathan stepped foot into the barbershop
"What's up Unc." Jade said sitting down in the chair
