We start our chapter in the waiting room of Class 1-A.

"Aw, man." Ashido complained. "I was totally hoping I could wear my costume."

Jay pouted, agreeing with his pink skinned friend. "Yeah, it sucks we can't even use our weapons in this either." 

Kirishima sweat dropped. "Well, it's gotta be faire for everyone." The hardening user said.

Cole slammed his fist together. "Well, I'm still hyped for this. I haven't partaken in a school event in a long while!" The Earth Ninja said fixing his clothes.

"Smith." Shoto Todoroki called out to Kai.

The mentioned fire ninja looked at the red and white haired teen, with a curious expression. "Yeah, Todoroki. What's up?" 

"From an objective standpoint, you are stronger than me, as much as it pains me to say it." Todoroki went straight to the point.

Kai tilted his head sideways. "Okay, and?"

Todoroki glared at the fire user harder. "You also have that golden weapon that makes your Quirk stronger." That made all of the ninjas slightly flinch and stiffen. "But you don't have that now for the Sports Festival. So know that i will beat you." He then looked at the other three ninja. "All of you."

The ninja all soften their posture. "Oh, okay." Jay brushed off Todoroki's comment.

"You do what makes you happy man." Kai said not giving a damn, which really made the fire and ice teen upset.

Kaminari let out a small gasp. "What's with all these declarations of war lately?" The electric boy asked to no one in particular. "First in class now this?"

Jiro tensed, unsure if she should intervene for Todoroki's safety. However before words could escape her mouth everyone was preparing to leave for the first event.

"W-Wait up!" The punk girl stuttered as she got up to join her class.

"I just want to say . . . That I'm gonna win!" Katsuki Bakugou stated in front of millions of people on television. 

And everyone booed.

"OH! COME ON!!" Kai raged

"So unmanly!!"

"WHY WOULD YOU BE SO DISRESPECTFUL?" Iida said while doing his signature hand chopping motion. "YOU'RE REPRESENTING US ALL!"

"Why did you do that Bakugou?" Zane asked the ash-blond teen as he rejoin his class.

"Not my fault the rest of you extras are just stepping stones to my victory." Bakugou answered giving a thumbs down.

"So uncool!!" Jay exclaimed annoyed!

"Yep, we gotta defeat this guy. He has way too much ego!" Cole said, cracking his knuckles, ready to fight. "He makes Kai's hot headedness look tame in comparison."

Kai spun around to glare at the Earth Ninja, but held his tongue knowing he was right.

"FIRST GAME!!"
