Ninjas and Heroes: REBOOTED (Mha x Ninjago)

Let's be Heroes? Sure!

Ten months.

That's how long the Ninja were in this new world.

A lot has happened.

First, they shamefully had to steal clothing so they wouldn't attract attention, they all agreed they would pay for the clothing when they made enough money, since they couldn't use Ninjago currency. Jay suggested he work at an electronic store for parts to make gadgets, have repair tools for Zane, just in case and most importantly, money.

Then they needed to find a place to stay, they couldn't live in the streets for ever. While Jay was at work, the other three ninja would do scouting, well mostly Kai and Cole, as Zane was trying to learn about this new realm, which proved to be a challenge since this world and Ninjago don't have the same writing. Fortunately, they did speak the same language, so it made his time much easier.

After learning about this worlds laws, Quirks and Heroes, Kai and Cole pretty much limited their scouting to public walks on the streets. Finally they made enough money to buy a rather cheap apartment. To their surprise it was actually quite spacious and fitting. Certainly a better improvement then the first apartment they had.

Next, they needed proper identification. So thanks to Jay and Zane's hacking they were able to pass up as ordinary civilians and just in case they registered the names of their 'Quirks' a different names for Spinjitzu. Kai as, Flame Tempest. Cole as, Earth Storm. Jay as, Electric Typhoon. And Zane as, Ice Tornado. Kai, Cole and Jay, gave the Nindroid a deadpan look for his creativity despite being a robot. 

As for the Golden Weapons? Well they certainly would catch a lot of attention in their vehicle forms, so that was a no go and they would also attract to much attention in their normal forms as well.

Even with all of that the Ninja didn't slack off on their training, since they still needed to find Garmadon and even if they knew they could use their True Potentials, they still trained every day to get used to their Golden Weapons once more and during one of those training sessions they made a shocking discovery. 

They could use their elemental powers without the aid of their weapons. It was Jay who made the first discovery. Zane theorized that their bodies must've been absorbing the energy of their Golden Weapons due to constant exposure. Needless to say, the boys were accepting of that theory. That also meant they could change their Quirk registration. 

Kai now is simply Fire, since he could manipulate and create fire quite well, the boys also commented how similar his 'Quirk' would be to the number 2 Hero: Endeavour. Although the ninja did notice that when ever Kai would try to go past his limits his eyes would glow an orange color. 

Cole also change to simply Earth since he also manipulate and create earth as well. Similar with Kai, whenever Cole would push his limit, which didn't happen often, instead of his eyes, his arms and hands would glow an orange color. 

Jay, simply put Lightning. When he would push past his limit his hair would fly out wildly and his body would be surrounded in lightning and his eyes would also spark lightning.

Zane, also simply had Ice. He could create Ice but not manipulate existing ice. When he would be pushed past his limit, surprisingly nothing happened. Though he did say he would sometimes see something that resembled a dragon.

They also needed a way to find Garmadon freely. Unfortunately the only way for them to do that, was to go to Hero school and graduate, which would take three years and since they were of the right age, it was their best shot right now. So naively they picked the nearest school, which just so happened to be the hardest school to get too, U.A High.

With only five months left before the entrance exam, the Ninja hit the books hard mostly Kai, Cole and Jay, since Zane was a Nindroid.

When writing for their application they wrote they needed support items, so they could have their weapons in the exam. Not the Golden Weapons mind you.

Kai had a simple Katana.

Cole had simple Scythe.

Jay had nice pair of Nunchucks.

And Zane, two large silver Shurikens.

And that about catches you up to date.

Now our Ninja are in their civilian clothes standing in front of the gates of U.A high. "Oh man, I'm getting a little nervous." Jay said as he looked around nervously. He was wearing a simple blue hooded jacket with a yellow lightning bolt on his left shoulder. He also wore black pants and a backpack which housed his Nunchucks and Zane's Shurikens.

Zane was able to keep calm and look at his surroundings. "It seems there aren't that many people with visible Quirks here. Interesting." Zane wore a black turtle neck, with a grey coat. He also wore blue Jeans.

Cole was wearing a dark gray hoodie and black pants with a brown belt, but even with that you could still tell he jacked underneath that hoodie. He also had a large case on his back which housed his Scythe and Kai's Katana.

Kai was wearing a red jacket hoodie, with a dark red shirt underneath and brown cargo pants.

Needless to say even in causal attire the Ninja were still attracting attention. As they were making their way in the building they could hear the other applicants whisper about them, most of being how attractive they looked which flattered them, but they also heard some mocking them. Kai wanted to burn whoever called him an emo because of his scar. Similarly Jay wanted to shock whoever called him a nerd, but much like Kai, he kept to him self.

After having done the written test, which proved to be a bit of a challenge for Kai and Cole, they were now in a room waiting for instructions for the practical exam. On their way to the room Kai suggested they sit away from each other to not attract more attention. Kai sat next to a boy with green hair who he swore he saw before and next to said boy was a boy with ash blond hair and red eyes. 'OH! Now I know these two, me and the boys saved them when we first go here.' Kai had stopped listening to Present Mic., since he already read the paper and had a general understanding of what he needed to do.

"You with green unkempt hair and the one with spiky air and casual attire." A voice said catching Kai and the green haired boys attention, as a light shined on both Kai and kid next to him. The voice coming from a boy with dark blue hair and glasses pointed out to the now nervous green haired kid. "You done nothing but mutter this entire time, It's distracting, seize it. And you with the spiky brown hair, you haven't been paying attention this whole time and that casual attire are you sure you're in the right place." Kai was now seriously getting ticked off.

But before Kai respond Mic. cut him off, explaining the rest of the test.

Kai was a bit pissed. He now in city B, waiting to start the exam. He unsheathed his Katana and saw that same green haired kid from before. He wanted to approach him since he seemed nervous, but 'Glasses' as Kai decided to nickname him was, what Kai could only guess as false judging the poor 'green boy'.

"READY!! START!!" Mic's voice yelled out as the gate of the fake city opened.
