TW FOR RELIGIOUS BELIEF!!!!

"I choose to prove Bad's innocence." Skeppy said.

"Are you sure? You won't be able to see him until you're done." Jake replied.

"I'm sure. I don't want the entire town to hate him for something that he didn't do." Skeppy said.

Jake smiled, "welp. I guess you should be heading back home." Skeppy nodded and stood back up, with Jake's help. They walked out the front door and into the car. Skeppy could wait a few days more until he saw Bad. A few weeks. A few months. Every time he re-thought over the amount of time it would take for them to completely prove Bad's innocence, it just got longer. But it was fine. He would wait as long as he needed to. He just hoped he wouldn't wait for long. The drive to his house wasn't that long and to his surprise, Jane was waiting right outside for him. He opened the car door and immediately he was trapped in her embrace. She hugged him tightly and swayed them side to side.

"Oh my god. Where have you been?" Jane asked, pulling back.

"I've been with Jake." Skeppy said, pointing to Jake.

"Why were you with Jake?" Jane asked Skeppy.

"And how did you find him?" Jane asked Jake.

"I didn't find him. He found me. He was stumbling around like a drunk. Then he passed out on the road." Jake said.

"He kidnapped me." Skeppy replied.

"Skeppy, I told you to stop saying I kidnapped you." Jake said. Skeppy stuck his tongue out to him.

"Skeppy, please be a little bit mature." Jane said. Skeppy pulled his tongue back in.

"Why did you leave the hospital anyways?" Jane asked.

"I have no idea." Skeppy said.

"What do you mean, you have no idea?" Jane asked.

"I mean, I just woke up in his house without a clue of where I was." Skeppy said.

Jane sighed, "I'll have to talk to Jay about this again. That sounds just horrible." Jane said. Skeppy nodded, then there was an awkward silence.

"Well, I better get going." Jake said, getting back in his car.

"Thank you, Jake. Have a safe trip back!" Jane said, waving. Jake waved back, closed the door, and then sped off. Jane watched until he was out of sight, then turned back to Skeppy.

"Let's go inside. You need food and rest. The effects of anesthesia usually last about a week. But knowing how much you got, it will probably last longer. Wait, should you go to sleep? Would that put you in a coma? Oh god, what if you fall asleep and never wake up again?" Jane started to ramble. Skeppy walked past her and opened the door.

"Please let's just go inside." Skeppy said. Jane nodded and hurried inside, Skeppy following her in. She started to cook a random meal that Skeppy could care less about. He didn't really care about anything at the moment. He just wanted the future to come, quickly.

The next three days were pretty boring. All he did was eat, read and sleep. Then on the fourth day, he had to go to Mega's house to practice his sign language. He was learning how to greet people, and say simple things like, "mom." Mega still seemed a bit rude or stuck up, but Skeppy thought that he was starting to like him. And from Bad's descriptions, Mega was a really nice person. A nice enough person to accept someone's uncontrollable flaws. And even though he teased, he never one talked about Skeppy's diamonds or appearance.

That's why Skeppy though that he was still a nice person. Because a truly mean person wouldn't stop to think about whether or not something might seriously affect you, they didn't care. But Mega stopped to think about what he said. Maybe it was just because of the fact that he had to write everything out. Or the fact that Skeppy was still Bad's friend. Skeppy knew it wasn't because of his parents. They couldn't care less about what was said to Skeppy, they've said worse things to him. Skeppy wondered how Mega turned out so much different than his parents. Probably because he always had Bad. But how did Bad turn out that way if his mom was Margret? His father? Did Bad even have a father? It just now occurred to Skeppy how little he actually knew about Bad. But knowing so little just meant that he had a lot to learn. And now that they were away from each other again, he would have to learn about him through the letters they send to each other.
