24- Energy

Quick note-
Sorry I haven't been posting as much lately... I got my 1st Covid vaccine shot and it's been kicking my ass.... I'm trying to keep rolling out new chapters, just feeling like crap....anyways thanks for sticking with me! :)

Five's POV:
I watch as Zero carefully inspects the plate Klaus put in front of her.... I forget that she's really only had peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches and then the chicken salad and fruit the handler fed us..... "Go on, I made it myself!" Klaus says standing on the other side of the table... Zero looks at him and smiles... she carefully takes a tiny bite out of some scrabbled eggs... her eyes go wide.. "What is this? It's so good!" She squeals as she takes another small bite.... I smile as I take a bite of some toast.... "Have you never had eggs before?" Klaus asks.... but he's not taunting her.... he sits down across from us looking curious... she sighs and replied "honestly the only things right now I can remember ever having are, strawberries, apples, lettuce, chicken, coffee and Five's peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches... well and now eggs..." she smiles sadly at him as she looks at me....

She notices I'm eating the toast and she quickly picks up the toast as well looking at it before taking a bite...... she closes her eyes at the crunch.... that was adorable....I can tell she's enjoying this very much... I guess this is our first breakfast at the Academy..."Well then bestie we have to expand your horizons!" Klaus says sympathetically yet happily.... Zero crunches again on her toast talking with her mouth full "I would like that very much." She smiles cheeks full of food and I chuckle at her leaning over to place a kiss in her cheek..... watching Zero eat brings so much joy to me.... seeing her eat makes me remember that this is all new to her.... and there's still so much stuff to show her....

"You know it's not very lady like to eat with your mouth full." I hear Luther's booming demanding voice as he enters the kitchen... Zero doesn't even bother to look back at him, she just swallows her food and speaks grabbing the knife on the table... "It's also not very lady like for me to slit your throat with this knife and then fuck Five in your blood..." she looks up at him evilly, "But I guess I'm debating doing both..." He gulps eyes wide as he grabs some food... he doesn't sit, he just stands away from Zero.... Keeping a glaring eye at her.... I love it when she's mean.... she should do it more.... "Nice one bestie! Very kinky with the murder & blood too.... I like that idea" Klaus whispers out and I try to hide my smile and blush by looking down at my plate.... Zero whispers back to him "Oh it's not an idea, Five and I have done it covered in blood from murder with the bodies around us..." I choke on my eggs and shoot Zero a look.... damn girl you exposing us...

"What? He's my bestie... & it's not like he's going to judge us..." she says shrugging her shoulders... "She has a point there..." Klaus says laughing as he leans back in his chair motioning to himself... Zero chuckles as she grabs the cup and takes a sip.. "That's sour as hell what is that?" She asks, I pick up her cup and take a sip... "It's orange juice baby" I say placing it back down, she puckers her lips squinting her eyes....clearly she's not used to sour things... I smile at her scrunched up face... I'm sure this is a lot of new things all at once for her.... I pass her my coffee and she takes a sip quickly... she smiles, "Thank you Fivey" I nod and taking back the coffee taking a sip....

"Hey looks like I missed the invite... what's goin on you guys?" I turn around to see Diego walk in spinning his knife... Zero peaks over her shoulder and smiles at him before diving back into her breakfast... I do the same... till I hear Diego whisper "Good morning to you doll face" I quickly look over to see him leaning over where Zero is sitting whispering in her ear... she rolls her eyes at him and he stands back up... hell no Diego....I shoot him a death glare mumbling under my breath.... he just smirks at me and grabs some toast.... "Yo what happened to big man" Diego asks pointing to Luther.... I sigh as Klaus answers "He had a big night... he finally got laid!" Diego looks shocked "Woah congrats ape man!" He says reaching over to high five him but Luther huffs and looks away from Diego... Diego turns back to us "What's his deal?" Zero chuckles pushing her plate away, "No clue" she says and Diego sighs rubbing his eyes...

"Well Allison left last night to go and track down Vanya... has anyone seen her?" ....Wait she went all by herself?!! Why did she not take anyone for backup?!?  ..... Luthers head immediately shoots up "You let her go alone!" He yells slamming his fists onto the table breaking a plate... Zero flinches back teleporting into my lap.... I wrap my arms around her tightly.... Her aura is frightened... "I've got you..." I tell her mentally she kisses my forearm in reply.... Luther continues glaring at Diego "we have to go find her! It's not safe out there!!!" Diego rolls his eyes at Luther.... "Ok ok! Don't get your panties in a twist!" Diego follows Luther out of the room but stops to look at the three of us... "Y'all coming or you want to stay?" I glance down at Zero.... honestly she needs rest and a pointless goose chance to find my sister isn't needed..."We will stay." I say choosing for us and Diego nods leaving the room... Zero sighs as I feel her aura grow calmer again....

"So bestie I was wondering if maybe we could have some time together today? If your man doesn't mind?" Klaus asks looking pleadingly at me... I groan... "Fine but I want her then for the afternoon." I say.... I can't believe I'm negotiating with Klaus for Zero's time... Klaus claps his hands standing up, "Yes! I already have it planned we will be back by 3pm!" Zero looks up at me kissing my chin... I look down and kiss her lips squeezing her waist tightly... "Have fun..." I tell her genuinely as I pull away from the kiss...

She smiles at me and then I joke "not too much fun though... that's my job..." I growl at her and she kisses me harder "Of course daddy...see you tonight and thank you for this...."she purrs at me pulling away... "Of course honey.." I say smiling... I mean it too... she's never gotten to do any of this... I'm happy she's made a friend... and that most of my family likes her....she teleports off my lap... the food helped her strength a lot... she looks like her again... She looks at me and smiles... "Every time your touchin' me... your lovin' gives me energy... " she says, clearly she heard my thoughts... I smile blowing her a kiss as Klaus giggles wrapping his arm around her shoulder taking her out of the kitchen...... she blows me a kiss as he drags her out....her love gives me energy too... it's just what I need...I pick up my coffee downing the last of it....Guess that means I have till 3pm to figure out how I'm going to find Harold and stop the end of the world....
