Liza's pov

I burst into the bathroom all of us kids use and was shocked at the sight before me. My eyes opened wide and my jaw dropped. My 12 year old brother Niall was in the bathroom trying to put on makeup.

"Lizzy, I can explain. Please don't tell mommy." he looked at me frightened then ran to me crying. I hugged him back as he clutched onto me.

"Niall, it's okay I promise you I won't tell as long as you tell me why your trying to put on make up." I told him as I locked the door and began to wipe off the distasteful makeup along with a few tears.

"Well I just wanted to try it" he sniffled and continued, "I started crying because I thought you'd be mad and tell mommy"

"I'm not mad cutie" I whispered to him. "now, would you like me to do your makeup?" I asked him knowing to be gentle with subjects like these.

"why would you do that? Boys shouldn't wear makeup" he stated confused.

"well you just tried silly! and, if you make it not noticeable like I do no one will know." I told him pulling out my blush.

"okay" he mumbled.

-------5minutes later------

"ok, look in the mirror and tell me whatcha think" I smiled at him. He turned and looked in the mirror and smiled.

"I love it" he whispered but continued, "can you make me look more like a girl?" he asked seeming embarrassed.

"sure, uh let's straighten those wavy locks huh?" I asked and he nodded. I sat on the closed lid toilet with my hair iron and he stood in front of me.

"Ni, can you tell me why you want to look more like a girl?" I asked gently.

"well, when you mum and Callie get all dressed up for fancy things everybody and I mean everybody compliments
you guys. I guess I just thought if I wore make up I'd look pretty like you guys." he mumbled.

"Niall, you always loom so hand-" he cut me off, "I don't want to be just handsome, I want to be called pretty and gorgeous and adorable"

"okay, I understand Niall. Would you like me to do this for you more often then?" I asked and he nodded quickly. I moved the iron so he wouldn't bang his head and continued straightening his hair. Just as I finished Callie banged on the door screaming, "Mum and Da want us down in the living room! There's a family meetin!"

"okay we're coming!" I yelled.

"how do I look?" Niall asked.

"you look gorgeous Ni, but let's get some proper clothes on you if your going to wear the make up." he nodded confused and I picked him up and placed him on my hip since he's still small enough. We walked into my room and I pulled him out my old dance black leggings and a light blue top that either gender could wear.

"go and put it on! we've got to hurry mum and Da are waiting!" I teased as I turned around knowing how easily he got embarrassed. He poked me and I turned around to see Niall all dressed up looking what could be misconstrued as either a plain looking little girl or a very good looking little boy.

"you look gorgeous Ni, let's go!" I picked him up and walked down the stairs. We were the first ones in the living room so Niall stayed seated in my lap. Next in came Callie then Greg. Then mum and dad came in last.

"so what's up mum?" I asked.

"Callie, when did your friend get here and why is she sitting in your sister's lap?" Dad asked and Niall nearly burst into tears.

"DAD! THIS!" I screamed pointing to Niall, "is your youngest son who felt like dressing up today. And if you guys have any problem with that at all, I certainly don't have a problem with moving out and taking Niall and Callie with me. I'm old enough now to hold a job and a flat. I'm basically raising them now anyway since you're always away for business." I finished.

"Liza, don't be ridiculous! It's not a problem as long as it doesn't become an every day thing and he's only home when he does it." Dad whipped back.

"Dad, there is nothing wrong with an 12 year old little boy wanting to play dress up. Other boys do it with cowboys and cops, why can't Ni do it as a little girl?" I defended him knowing this won't be a phase, trust me I know my Niall well enough.
-----Niall's pov-------

I knew it, they hate me, they think I'm silly and ugly and think I'm ridiculous.

I'm almost crying when Callie leans down in front of me, "Ni I don't think your silly, I don't think your ridiculous and I certainly don't think your ugly"

"Thank you Callie" I sniffled.

"Niall, don't start crying you'll ruin your make up Liza worked so hard on!" Greg teased and I laughed and he continued, "Nice hair too, it looks really cool straightened"

"I'm sorry Niall, I guess I'm just so used to seeing you in much different clothes." Dad apologized.

"it's okay" I mumbled.

"so! what's the family meeting about mum?" Liza asked obviously pulling the attention away from me.

"well, since Liza spoke about business this is perfect! We are moving to Holmes Chapel Cheshire in England!" she bubbles over with excitement.

"you mean the place were you and Daddy always send us stuff from?!" Callie asked excited. Mum nodded and smiled glad one child was excited.

"well that sounds like fun right Ni? we needed to get you away from that mean boy at school anyway. You can start over there and make new friends." she whispered. She seriously was not kidding when she said she was basically raising Callie and I.
