Miraculous Serum

First Day of School

"Beep! Beep! Beep!" The alarm went off, waking both of them up from their beauty sleep. 

"Ahhh!!" Marinette yelled, Tikki flying out of her bag.

"What's wrong?" Both Jackie and Tikki asked in unison.

"We have twenty minutes to get ready!! Get up ! Get up! Get up!" Marinette yelled, rushing picking out her clothes. 

"I'm going , I'm going." Jackie said, "Uhm, can I borrow your clothes, I didn't bring any."

"Of course! Just hurry up and come downstairs for breakfast!" 

"Okay, okay, but what's different this time? You're always late aren't you?"

"Maybe, but doesn't mean I want to be!"

"This doesn't have anything to do with Adrien does it?"

"No! Of course not! I just want to attend the fencing club that just so happens Adrien will be there because it starts before school today instead of after." 

"And how do you know this exactly?"

"I may have overheard Kagami telling Adrien."

Oh great. This is going to be a disaster. Adrien and Kagami are going to be there alone. Maybe I can hint to Adrien that Marinette likes him.

"Well hurry up then! We're not going to make it at this rate!"

They laughed as they both got ready. Jackie walked downstairs to be greeted by Tom, Sabine, and a plate of macaroons. 

Macaroons for breakfast? Sounds great to me!

"Very nice to meet you, I'm Jackie, sorry I couldn't come down and say hi last night." Jackie introduced herself.

"No worries! We're glad our daughter is making more friends!" Tom responded, giving her a tight hug.

"Okay Tom, that's enough, we don't want to kill the poor girl." Sabine said to Tom.

 Tom laughed nervously setting Jackie back down. 

"You're welcome to stay as long as you'd like." Sabine offered.

"I appreciate it." Jackie responded, grateful for the serum her dad made. 

Marinette and Jackie walked out the door and made their way to the school. They arrived too late, Adrien and Kagami already went their separate ways. They saw Kagami leaving the school. Before entering Ms. Bustier's classroom Marinette told the teacher there was a new student and sat next to Alya.

"What did you say to her girl? Spill the tea." Alya asked.

"You'll see." Marinette said smiling, excited for the class to meet Jackie. 

"It seems as though we have a new student everyone. Come on in Jackie."

Jackie walked in seeing everyone in there normal seats.

"You can have a seat next to Lila up in the back."

"Thank you." Jackie responded.

As she walked up, she made eye contact with Adrien and then Marinette. She rolled her eyes and Marinette laughed.

"Is something funny Marinette?" Ms. Bustier asked.

"No, nothing, sorry" Marinette replied holding in the rest of her laughter. 

Jackie sat down next to Lila and kept as much distance as possible between them.

"Hi I'm Lila. I used to have a hearing disorder so it might come back randomly in the middle of class, so if I have any questions could you answer them for me?" Lila said, obviously lying.

"Sure, whatever." Jackie responded, gving her the least attention she could give.

"I saw you look at Adrien on the way up, I just wanted to let you know that he's my boyfriend."

"Oh? Is he now?" 

"Yeah he is, he's so in love with me, some could even say obsessed."

"So if I asked him after class?"

"Oh, he probably won't admit it, we're in a secret relationship, I'm not supposed to tell anyone, but I just love him so much. You understand, right?"

"Yeah of course," Jackie responded.

She made eyes contact with Marinette once again. This time she made a 'talking and talking on' hand gesture. Marinette burried her head in her arms and tried her hardest not to laugh. Jackie noticed Alya looking at her so she waved, but Alya just looked back to the front of the class.

"What's all that about?" Alya asked Marinette, almost annoyed it seemed.

"Oh, its nothing" Marinette replied going back to listening to Ms. Bustier. 

Alya ignored the response for now, but she didn't like the idea of Marinette having inside jokes she wasn't allowed to be in. She was starting to get jealous.

After class Marinette walked up to Jackie and she filled her in on what Lila had told her.

"That is the most revolting thing I've ever heard." Marinette responded, fake gagging.

"Hey girl, did you want to hangout after school today?" Alya asked Marinette.

"Sorry Alya, Jackie is new here and she lost something when she arrived, I'm going to help her look for it." 

"I can help too!"

"That's alright, we'll find it ourselves, thank you though, hangout tomorrow?"

"Sure." Alya replied walking out of the classroom.
