Rejection

Recap- Eric walked down the rows of boys calling some to be in the army and skipping by others. He then stoped when he got to my brothers and me.

Eric stopped and looked and looked at my two brothers very intently.
"What are your names" he said addressing them.
"I'm Caleb" my brother said proudly.
"And I'm Alex" said my second torturer.
"You both look like a great fit for the army" said Eric after a few long seconds of thinking. He motioned for them to go join the other boys who where chosen to fight against the elves and dwarves. Then he turned and looked at me.
"Who the hell are you?" said the leader of the Shadow Warriors with a disapproving gaze.
"I.. I... I'm Luke" I said while stuttering. Eric then turned to my torturous father.
"Give this excuse of a human a beating. He has no muscle. Heck, this boy has no bone!" He yelled at my father.
"It's nothing new to this son of a female dog." (A/N sorry, can't say the real word... This is a school iPad and it's monitored so if I type in a bad word I'll get in deep trouble)
"Well good" replied Eric. "He deserves every whack on his frail little body that he gets." With that he moves on. The lead warrior kept calling out some people and leavening others but I blanked out after that. I was just anticipating the ruthless torture that was to come from my father. Before I knew it, Eric was yelling to the villige.
"Thank you all for the wonderful warriors that you have produced for the king in the great war that we are fighting in. All of you have been rewarded by a feast that the king himself arranged. May you all fill your stomachs. Although, there are some of you who won't participate in the feast at your elders wishes." He yelled. As he said this last part, the leader of the army's ice cold eyes gouged a hole right through my head.
"We wish you all well" and with that he set off along with the new recruits to the next village to get the next batch of warriors.
