-Jess's POV-
Gems were fleeing, everywhere. Why were they running? I didn't have enough time to think before a gem almost ran me over, before I dodged.
There was fighting, everywhere, as far as I could see. Shards, gems. How long would I survive?
And then, a song. I saw lights in the night sky. Gems were mentioning a song, a sound, a light cast out by the Diamonds. But when I was back on Homeworld, I had only ever heard of it in folktales.
This... war... was getting out of hand! Led by the infamous Rose Quartz and her entire army.
"I- whats that sound?!" I screamed. By now, most gems had already fled. Ships were disappearing, and the warp stream...
Until suddenly, fire enveloped me. My power was fire, and it could protect me from anything, while doing damage to anyone on the other side.
I laid down, crying myself to sleep. The song was getting louder... it... it can't be...
Five thousand years later, I had finally woken up from my slumber. The fire was gone, leaving only some scorched grass.
I looked around. There were many weapons, scattered everywhere. Many strawberries were visible as well.
"Where... where is everybody?" I called out, but I got no response. What was the song doing? I still had so many questions, but I knew I couldn't get an answer. I don't know how I fell asleep for 5,000 years.
I put my hand on my gem, on my back. I rubbed it. It still had the usual texture.
My only course of plan was to look for the nearest warp pad, while surviving on the strawberries. Before the song, I noticed that all of the gems were running ahead of me, and multiple warp streams were very faintly seen in the distance.
"My only course of action is to run that way, while surviving on the strawberries in this battlefield," I said to nobody, taking a bucket out of my gem.
I picked strawberries, while still keeping my course relevant. This would be everything, to leave this forsaken planet. My hair fell as I ran through the former battlefield, looking at the fallen shields and occasional shards.
The warp pads were still far away, and I would need some sleep. But I would lose my sense of direction, and wander off the wrong way. I had already shattered a few shards as I ran. But it didn't matter. If I could find anyone, I would be happy.
But then I saw a creature in the distance. But this didn't deter me. I summoned some fire and incinerated it, while putting the bucket a good 5 feet away. It poofed, and I bubbled it.
I picked the bucket up, and continued my journey. The Galaxy Warp was only 3 miles away. But then I fought about riding a bicycle, since my feet were numb. So I summoned a gem-powered bicycle, while putting the bucket in a holder.
I cycled the 3 miles. But there was an ocean. I put the bicycle and the bucket of strawberries back in my gem, and used my gem jump to make it to the warp. I warped somewhere, any where.
But I didn't expect to warp into... a house?
