Soni's POV

I sit at the bar, sipping some fruity drink at Ana's request. I watch her dance with some stranger she met as soon as we entered the club. I wonder what made her so outgoing, she was always about fun. Her famous line rings through my ears, "You have to live like every day is your last because there's a chance it is." She had no regrets, shameless in all that she was.

Ana loved parties, and enjoyed the company of all people, she could talk to anyone about anything. I don't know how we've become best friends. Ana likes to think I keep her from spiraling out of control. I'm snapped out of my thoughts when my bestfriend stumbles in front of me.

"Come to dance Soni, you can't sit there all night. Come dance." The neon lights reflect off the beads of sweat sprinkling her forehead, and a wide smile stretched across her face. "Yeah, no." I smile lightly, "I'd rather watch." She rolls her eyes and grabs my hand. Pulling out of my seat and on the dance floor, as the next song plays. Ana dances around me, while I laugh watching. Her previous dance partner pulls her away, and I'm left alone. I try to make my way back to my seat at the bar, pushing through the crowd.

Taehyung's POV

I stand on the wall by the entrance, watching Jungkook whisper in some girl's ear, and Namjoon laughing with the girl from the other night. I watch them intently, he's never mentioned her as anything more than the girl from the club. But something tells me there's more. Then again I and Jk are young and immature, I would understand why he wouldn't mention her as his girlfriend to us. Jungkook said I tend to fuck around. I don't think either of us has experienced anything serious.

But, Jungkook definitely gets around more than me, I'm picky. I watch Jungkook lead the girl he was talking to out to the dance floor. I sit up and make my way to the bar. I order my drink and chat with some girl while I wait. From the corner of my eye, I catch a girl leaving the dance floor, and sitting at the end of the bar. Her back is to me, but when she turns and tries to get the attention of the bartender, I realize who it is. Soni. I could barely recognize her, she looked different. At the party, she look professional, stuck up. The last place I would expect to see her was here. This Soni looked, daring. Before I know it I'm making my way toward her.

Soni's POV

When I make it to the bar, I sit and ask the bartender for a glass of water. The sea of dancing bodies seems to get louder as the music drums in my head. I scan the crowd trying to find Ana, but someone steps directly into my line of sight. I look up from my seat, and I'm met with those cat-like eyes.

"Taehyung," I whisper more to myself. "Hi, Soni." He leans in close on his elbow, he stares into me, and I notice the purplish bruise on his left cheek.  Instinctively I raised my hand, brushing my fingers over the bruise. "I'm sorry," I tell him, dropping my hand. "For what?" He raises his eyebrows, "About that." I motion to the bruise. He laughs, and leans on the bar next to me, "Your not the one who punched me, Soni." He all smiles as he stared out at the crowd of people. I take this moment to study him.

His eyes were bright and wild. I wonder what he's thinking. He looks over, catching me in my stare, I feel my cheeks go harm. "You look good by the way. I'm surprised to see you here though." "How come?" I asked reaching for my water. Pulling his eyebrows together, with a knowing look on his face. "Well, clubs don't seem like your scene." I raised my eyebrows, "Well what's my scene?" He chuckles lightly, when he meets my eyes, he stops. He clears his throat before answering, "Well you strike me as the good girl. If I'm being honest you look, for lack of better words, snobbish". He says slowly while shrugging. "Snobbish," I repeat.

I'm a little annoyed at the conclusion that was drawn just because of what I grew up around. "What I'm trying to say is, this is the last place I would expect to see you. Based on what you told me about the controlling parents, I assume this is the last place they would want you." He's not wrong. My parents would die if they knew I was here. "Hey Tae, who's your friend?" A raven-haired boy stumbles over to us, his smile wild and a girl attached to his hip. Taehyung chuckles at his friend, " You okay Kook?", all the boy does is laugh. The girl pulls him away to the dance floor. While Taehyung watches them, all I can think of is how he sees me as snobbish, everyone sees me that way. I hate it, I envy my best friend.
