The Great Hall; 1945

"Quiet Please" announced headmaster Dippet from the head table at the great hall. Quietness spread like a wild fire until you could hear nothing but the nonrhythmic  breathing of some students and the clinking sound of the luminous candles bumping against each other. The great hall was completely and utterly silent.

"I would like to welcome you back to another Beautiful year at Hogwarts, for the first years who weren't sorted earlier today you can come to me or any professor and tell them. As for the seventh years, I am so proud for how far you have come and the lives you will lead. Now before we feast there is one more student who needs to be sorted. Seventh years make sure you make her feel welcomed" He pointed at the gates of the great hall, which opened slightly showing a tall raven haired girl. She was the type of girl everyone would stop to stare at. Her looks were unbelievably attractive, she gained many stares, ones that were malicious and ones that were lust ridden.  She quickly ran here eyes through the 4 great hall tables, like a predator's glance for their prey.

Her ebony eye's ran through the Slytherin table, everyone was looking at her except two boys, a blonde one and one with black hair. The blonde boy was speaking to the other boy but he seemed more interested in writing down something in the black leather notebook that sat in his hand where ,she supposed, his plate was supposed to be. She held her glance a little longer until he raised his eyes and for a second a weird spark felt ignited, he broke of their eye contact quickly.

As she reached where Professor Dippet was standing and he placed the sorting hat on her head.

"Ahh a Rosier, I haven't had a Rosier in a while, This one her heart is as pure as gold, but a mind as dark and cunning as this one belongs in...... SLYTHERIN" A loud cheer erupted from the slytherin table, even a whistle or two. She walked towards the table while the same boy who was writing in his notebook and another girl, who she had to say was unbelievably admirable, her head was shaven, and her skin glistened under the light of the candles.

"I'm Meredith, Slytherin head girl" she said "This is Tom Riddle, the Slytherin head boy, think of us as the people you can ask when you need anything, although I am more approachable than he is" she laughed but the boy's face stayed as still as a statue, she couldn't help but think wow she had gotten herself into a loony bin. A forced small grin showed implanted on her face.

"I'm Dàvina, I'm not going to be to much trouble can you please point me to Aura Parkinson, she's sixth year i think" the girl spoke as she asked Meredith, she had noticed how tom had disappeared, not that she cared much, everyone here seemed to be obsessed with him, especially the girls, she was not going to be a pawn in some boy's game. After walking with Meredith Dàvina immediately noticed Aura.

"Aura" Dàvina exclaimed as she ran to the girl with an open embrace, the girl got up and hugged her back

"Dàvina Oh how much I missed you" she said as she held her tighter. Her arms eventually left her friends back.

"Tell me everything I missed on through last year, how's life, and how is your studies, boy trouble? maybe even girl trouble?" Dàvina spoke to her as Aura dragged her by the arm to the place she was sitting in and sat beside her. Aura and Dàvina had been the best of friends since Aura was born, she spent a lot of time in the Rosier Mansion since her mom was sick after having her.

"Mum's stable for now, I actually have been getting good grades and as for boys, there is this one boy but he won't ever notice me" she snorted which boy wouldn't notice Aura, she was a goddess if you ask her.

"Which boy is blind and can't see how hot you are, please the only boy I can think of is that riddle boy but he seemed quite, morbid" she laughed but Aura's went red and still.

"Oh Merlin, it's him isn't it. I'm sorry Aura I didn't know" She apologized and gave her a sympathetic look, making sure she hadn't hurt her. Aura told her all about Hogwarts, the dorms, classes, and everything else. She even showed her to the common room, muttering the password "Serpent" at a gate of what looked like a dungeon. The doors opened revealing a rich green velvet themed common room.  The other blonde boy was sitting beside the fireplace, his features looked distressed, tense even. His eyes traveled down her body, the look filled with lust, she couldn't tell if she felt uncomfortable or mesmerized

"That's Abraxas Malfoy, one of the hottest boys in this school, seems like he has an eye out on you, meaning no one can have you, unless it's tom" Aura whispered, as she pointed at the boy. He had stood up and moved towards the gates of the common room.... coming right to where they were standing. Dàvina was a bold girl and thats understatement and she was the type of girl to give men a hard time to get what they ant from her. Aura gave her "no not this boy look". on his way out his arm "accidentally" bumped into her.

"Watch it, oh sorry, where are my manners, I'm Abraxas Malfoy" he said a sly smirk on his face. A wide smile imprinted on her face.

"No fucks were given" she said and walked along Aura to the girls dormitory, this is going to be a long year for her.
