Gaius thought I was asleep. The moonlight shone in through the window, making my room far too bright for a good night's rest.

Elicia didn't seem to have the same problem; she was asleep in a corner with her cloak bundled into a pillow under her head. She made me uneasy, reminded me too much of Mordred - a lone Druid, wounded and hiding in plain sight. I had to keep her away from Morgana.

I stretched, yawning. I was tired and we were going to Cenred's kingdom in the morning. I had to get some sleep. I hoped Arthur knew what he was getting into.
