A/N: Hey everyone! Just wanted to quickly clear up the money situation in the lupin household. I'm aware that due to remus's condition he finds it hard to find and hold a job, however Emmeline Vance was a pureblood in the books and I believe that her family was very wealthy much like the potters and in my book although not explained, Em's parents were part of the original order alongside effie and monty and died alongside them, and when Em died she left all her money to Remus to look after their child. Remus doesn't flaunt the wealth because A. he's Remus and B. he is always scared he's going to need it for something bad in the future. That's why they can afford to look after animals and get a piano and such. If you want to know more about her family history let me know!

I'd also like to quickly say that Juniper acts a bit childish because she has experienced mentally matured children her age, it's difficult to mature when she doesn't know she's supposed to and doesn't have any examples except her father if that makes sense?

Anyways, enjoy - Sammy <3

Juniper started her day, on the morning of June 20th 1995, like she would any other. She began by going to the bathroom and doing all her self care necessities. She then went back to her room, grabbed her newest book, Little Women, from her bookshelf, sat on her 'reading poof' as she liked to call it (it was really a large fluffy bean bag in one corner of her room) and read a few chapters of her book. After an hour of reading, she would go out onto her balcony and examine the weather. This was a crucial step in her morning routine as this would determine what her day's activities would be. It looked like it had been raining the night before, and the air smelled nice and calming, so she decided she would go for a walk, possibly with her father.

After a while of sitting and basking in the different aspects of nature, Juniper decided it was finally time to go downstairs to greet her father. Once she got downstairs she walked into the cupboard where they kept the birdseed and other food that they could feed to any animals they encountered, and collected a large tub of seed. She then walked into the kitchen, where she walked right past her father, oblivious to the fact he was even there, humming a song and made her way outside to feed the birds. Once that was done she came back inside and finally acknowledged her father.

"Good morning Papa, lovely day today isn't it?" she asked, while pouring herself a large cup of coffee and taking a seat in front of her father.

"Good morning darling, it is. How did you sleep?" Remus replied back to his daughter, who had taken the newspaper from where he left it.

"Good Morning Papa, what is what? I slept wonderfully, how did you sleep?". She spoke with such an airy, carefree voice. "The weather darling, you mentioned it was lovely, I was agreeing with you" he softly replied.

Remus and Juniper were very close, Juniper would consider her father her best friend. They would talk about anything, yet whenever Juniper would forget, which was quite often, it made the atmosphere tense. Remus couldn't help but feel sorry for his daughter who kept forgetting what had happened moments before. Juniper felt embarrassed that she couldn't hold a simple conversation without forgetting the topic at least twice. That's not saying that they didn't argue because they did, but Remus would almost occlude it away and Juniper would forget.

"Right, yes sorry Papa. Are you okay you look rather... tense?" she asked her father, who indeed looked tense. "I'm fine darling, I just have some news, I'm afraid how you'll take it" he admitted. "Just tell me Papa, you're worrying me slightly," Juniper said before nervously giggled.

"Well you see... we have to move for a while... today" he rambled. Juniper's expression was one of shock and nerves. It's moments like these when her memory seems to stick for a while.
