Yn pov:

As soon as Monokuma disappeared several students began speaking

"So if I understand correctly the only way out of this place is to kill another student", Celestia said while twirling a small part of her hair 'are these people crazy how are they so calm' you thought.

"It's a joke", Chihiro whimpered as tears formed in her eyes.

"Even if it is a joke that doesn't alleviate my suspicion that one of you may take up the Bears offer" byakuya said acting as if he was better than everyone.

Everyone turned to stare at each other 'the only way out is to kill another student who would do such a thing' you thought you didn't want to suspect anyone but as people looked around the room suspiciously you realised that no one trusts anyone.

"I suggest we start investigating see if there is any way out" Kyoko said calmly stopping everyone's suspicious stares.

You stayed by Kyokos side and began searching around the stage while Sakura and aoi tried the shutters. Kyoko remained calm and composed during her entire time here 'I wish I had her confidence' you thought as you continued to search.

"Hey Y/N come have a look at this", Kyoko called so only you could hear to not expose your real name.

Kyoko pointed out a bright piece of wood it stood out against the old scratched up stage it was small but it was there.

"My guess is that there was a switch to the platform that Monokuma was on however", she said while lifting the piece of wood to reveal that the switch had all the wires cut. "Whoever planned this knew what they were doing", she continued.

The sound of yelling in the room pulled your attention to where Mondo was starting a fight with byakuya and Makoto trying to calm them.
'this won't end well' you thought and a few seconds later Makoto was punched across the room.

Sayaka quickly got Sakura to pick up Makoto and take him somewhere else. After leaving the room everyone began to split up and continue searching.

You decided to go with Chihiro to search the kitchen so she wouldn't be by herself, you walked into the kitchen together only to find tons of food "wow there's so much here", Chihiro said cheerily.

"Yeah there is but this is nowhere near enough to feed fifteen people for the rest of their lives and won't most of this go off", you said tossing an apple to Chihiro who fumbled the catch a little but still caught it.

"Well that is correct which is why the fridges get restocked every night" a high pitched voice said. You and Chihiro turned around only to be met with a Monokuma "depending on how much you eat the day prior will result in the amount of food restocked", He continued before disappearing again.

You left Chihiro in the dining room and found Sakura and aoi standing outside a sealed off stairwell.

"we can't open this security door so we can't get up the stairs" aoi said with a pout.

"Maybe they'll open up later" Sakura said looking at aoi

You all then went back to the kitchen to find almost everyone there already, you sat next to Kyoko at the main table while everyone talked amongst themselves.

"Did you find anything Kyoko?" You asked

"Nothing new really", Kyoko said with her usual expressionless face "what about you?", She asked looking at you.
You explained everything that you had discovered with the others. "Interesting", Kyoko said thoughtfully "good job at discovering these" she continued and smiled at tou. 'She has such a beautiful smile i'd love to see it more often' you thought as her face went back into her normal expressionless one.

Makoto and Sayaka then entered the room and took a seat at the table. "Right listen up I here by call the first hope peak highschool reconnaisance briefing on academy affairs", Taka called out to the table. 'I am ok with certain levels of Teacher's pet but taka takes it to a whole other level' you thought as everyone began explaining their discoveries.

"Well based off everyone's statement we now know the boundary of our confinement and that we'll be here a while", Celestia said in a calm matter suddenly toko began screaming and scratching at her head "stop I'm having a nervous breakdown", toko cried.

"Monokumas made that perfectly clear, from where else should the incentive to kill come from?", Byakuya said paying no mind to tokos mental breakdown.

"That's not something to joke about" Junko said turning to look at byakuya.

"What are we gonna do", Leon said grabbing his head.

"Adapt I suppose", Celestia said even calmer than before. 'Adapting would be good and all but doesn't Celestia want to get out of here", you thought.

"These aren't so bad arrangements", she continued.

"So what we just suck it up and get used to being prisoners" Junko whined in an irritated tone.

"I think we should continue searching for a way out it's only our first day it's to early to decide if we should just stay and adapt", you added looking around at every at the table. Kyoko gave a nod of approval and a small smile.

"In the rules in the e-handbook there is a designated curfew I suggest at night hours we all stay in our rooms", Celestia said standing up from the table. Most people silently agreed.

You entered the door that had my name plate and a pixel drawing of you somehow the name on the door had been replaced with F/N instead of Y/N, Monokuma must really be thinking ahead here. The room was very plain with only a bed with a pink bedspread and a desk in the room. You opened the door in your room to reveal a bathroom with a lock on the door. searching the desk draws you found nothing but a sewing kit with a guide on where to fatally stab people with needles. You jumped back and threw the sewing kit back in the draws.

They were really setting you up for this whole killing game thing. It made you sick, how well prepared everything was.

Suddenly there was a knock at your door causing you to jump at the abrupt sound. Carefully opening the door slightly you were met with Kyoko standing there. "Hey Kyoko what's happening?", You asked

"Come with me", Kyoko said lightly grabbing your arm and pulling you along with her.

You followed along curious as to where you were going. You entered the bathhouse and she closed the doors.

"There's no cameras in here so we can talk freely", she told you.

"What's going on did you find something?", You asked

"Yeah the principals office, it's locked up tight but I believe if we can find a way in we can discover a lot more about the school", she continued in a hushed tone

"I'm only telling you this as I feel I can trust you, we can't tell anyone else just yet until we get more clues"

"That's a great discovery Kyoko and don't worry my lips are sealed", you replied with a smile

Kyoko smiled back for the third time today 'I wish I could see her smile all the time I love seeing her happy', you thought.

...why were you thinking like this, it'd only been a day and already you wished nothing but the best for this girl. It was as if you had been put under a spell, your attraction to the mysterious girl grew larger by the minute.

"Attention students it is 10pm it is officially night time all water services have now been turned off", Monokumas bright voice called over the speakers

"I'll see you tomorrow morning", Kyoko whispered giving a small wave before leaving the bathhouse.

You left a few minutes later to avoid looking overly suspicious you entered your dormitory locking the door behind you... just to be safe. Before crawling into bed, however you couldn't fall asleep. The anxiety from the first day and all the days to come kept you awake. You pictured kyokos smile to distract myself and then you slowly drifted off to sleep.
