Nervously pacing in your room, you tried to figure out how to explain everything to Kyoko. You didn't overly want to tell her about Celestia, if you told her that could get Celestia killed. But if you didn't then she would think you were cheating on her.
You couldn't lie even if you wanted to.

But you couldn't put it off any longer than you already had. Anxiously waiting outside Kyokos room she quickly opened the door letting you into the room.
"So Makoto found so- what's wrong?", she very quickly switched from her usual time to one full of concern. You had tried to hide everything at least for a little longer, yet every lie she would see right through you.

"Y/N you can't lie to me. You know that. What's wrong? Did something happen?", she continued.

"I don't know how to tell you. It'll sound really bad but I promise you... it's not", you rambled trying to explain.

"Does it have anything to do with where you were this morning?", she continued.
She must've tried to talk with you earlier, hence the note. But since you weren't in your room after the motive she must've been suspicious of your where abouts.

"You didn't kill anyone right?", she questioned further. Though it seemed like a joke, she sounded so serious when she asked.

"No. No, it's nothing like that", you explained trying to work up the courage to explain things to her.
"Just promise you won't get mad ok", that was all you asked of her, but she didn't seem too convinced.

"Someone was planning to kill and they wanted my talent", you explained gaining a look of suspicion from Kyoko. You could tell she had already assumed the worst.
"I refused... but then they wanted to kill me and I had to convince them that I liked them", you continued to explain. Her face was blank she gave nothing away. You couldn't read her, but something told you that she wasn't happy.

"You need to understand Kyoko, she would've killed you, she would've killed me, she would've killed someone", you rambled taking her hand in yours but she pulled her hand away.

"What do you mean by convinced that you liked them. I'm sure your words weren't enough", she added you could hear the anger and almost pain in her voice. She was never going to trust you again after this.

"They weren't", you explained regretfully avoiding her harsh gaze.

"Did you kiss them?", she asked

"Only on the cheek", you admitted. You hoped she wouldn't be too mad. Or she could at least forgive you, or understand. If you didn't "confess" she would've killed Kyoko you know she would have. To Celestia, Kyoko was her only obstacle, the only thing keeping you from being with her.

"It was Celestia. Wasn't it?", her tone even scared you slightly, you'd never heard her so mad, but you weren't sure if it were at you or Celestia. You hesitated.

"You can't lie to me! Tell me it was Celestia!", she yelled her sudden aggression catching you off guard.

"It was", you replied your voice shaking slightly.

You could see the pain in Kyokos expression but she quickly pushed it away, returning to her usual unreadable expression. You felt a major pang of guilt, making you feel worse than before.

"I think you should go", she finally spoke up creating a lot of distance between the two of you.

"I'm sorry. But you need to understand Kyoko she would've killed you, she would've killed me", you rambled in defence.

"You should've told me. I wouldn't let her hurt you and I'm not easy to kill
Y/N", she continued. For a brief moment you could've sworn you saw the glimmer of a tear in her eye before she turned her back to you once more.

"It'll be night time soon. You should get back to your room", it was obvious she didn't want to talk to you anymore. She didn't even want to look at you.

"I'm sorry", you said once more before stepping out into the hall.

She would never trust you again. Hell she might not even look at you again. You'd ruined everything, but it wasnt your fault. Yes you shouldn't have done that with Celestia you felt guilty in the moment and you felt guilty now. In the moment you couldn't think properly, if you weren't put in the position where you thought you were about to die you could've come up with a better plan.
You returned to your room your heart aching.
"Oh the horror of heartbreak", Monokumas chipper voice teased. You didn't want to respond. You didn't want to even pay any mind to that stupid bear. Flopping face first on your bed you did your best to ignore the high pitched voice.
"The betrayal. Do you love Kyoko or Celestia", it continued to tease
"Watching this is better than any reality tv", it added once more before finally growing silent.

You just hoped she would forgive you. But you wouldn't be surprised if she didn't.
The night time announcement followed soon after Monokuma left. As much as you tried to sleep you just couldn't, you tossed and turned hoped your mind would just be quiet, but everytime you would remember the look on Kyokos face. The tears in her eyes, the look of betrayal. You broke her heart.

You thought about going for a walk, breaking the night time rule, maybe going and seeing alter ego. But you were quickly reminded of Celestias plan on murdering someone and decided against it. You doubted she would kill you, you doubted she'd kill anyone. With the promise of your love she wouldn't risk killing you along with everyone else... right?

But if she was ready to kill, maybe others had been tempted by the money motive. You wanted to believe you were with good people, that those of you who remained would not kill anyone. Celestia must've been getting desperate, as everyone was. You decided it wouldn't be safest.

You continued to lay restlessly in your room, just waiting for sleep you stared at the blank wall.
The only thing you could think of was Kyoko until you eventually fell asleep.

Sorry for keeping everyone waiting for so long. I am currently working on the plot of this story and I started this story I don't know how long ago, so my writing has changed since then. But I do hope you all still enjoy this story. Another note I am loving the comments :)
