Chapter - Adoptipn

The next day at school Brody's dad waited with his son and Rod by the school gates.
"Boys when Swift comes let me speak to him first"
"Ok dad"
"I'll take him to that bush over there so I can ask him a few questions about he won't be pressured by the crowd" says Brody's dad pointing to a bush.
"Alright dad we'll wait here"
- 5 minutes later -
"Here he comes Brody's dad" says Rod pointing in Swift's direction.
Brody's dad walked up to Swift and asked if he can ask him a few questions. Swift nodded hesitantly.
"Swift I would like to take you to my office so we can get you out of your abusive home"
"...Where will I go?" It was so quiet that Brody's dad almost missed it.
"My wife,Brody and I would love to adopt you"
"What does that mean?"
"It means that my wife and I are your legal guardians and will take care of you and love you"
"...Why would you do that willingly?"
"What do you mean?"
"...My parents said I was unlovable"
"Your parents lied to you"
- At Brody's dad office -
They sat in the order from left to right Brody's dad,Swift,Brody,Rod.
"Swift I don't want you to feel alarmed or anything but you're parents will have to be here"explained Brody's dad.
Swift's eyes widened in horror and he began hypebilating, Brody's dad places a wing on Swift's shoulders and gets him to calm down enough for his breathing to get back to normal.
"Don't worry. I'll be there and there will also be two policemen behind them so there is nothing to be afraid off. They can't hurt you."
After the meeting Swift's parents were sent to over 20 years in prison. (sorry for the time skip I wasn't sure how to the meeting would have gone)

Brody's dad and mum signed the adoption papers to get full custody of Swift. Brawls over the moon that Swift was going to be his brother while Rod has happy that Swift was going to move into a loving house and Swift was feeling very grateful and relieved that he wouldn't have to sleep in the basement and was free of his abusive home. When they arrived home Brody's mum gave Swift a tour of the house which ended at his bedroom. Swift was speechless for a few minutes.
"What would you like for dinner sweetheart?"
"...umm"Swift shrugged his shoulders
"How about beef burgers and chips!" Brody shouted announcing his favourite meal
"...uhh sure"
"Ok I'll call you when it's done"said Brody's mum making her way downstairs.
"Ok" both boys shouted after her.
- After dinner -
"Ok boys you have one hour before you have to start getting ready for bed"says Brody's mum loading the dishwasher.
Both boys ran upstairs to have fun before bed.
- at 10 o'clock -
Both boys were in bed.
"Goodnight Swift" says Brody's mum giving him a hug.
"...goodnight...uhh..."Swift hesitated as he wasn't sure to call his friend's mum who was now his guardian.
"Call me mum" says Brody's mum understanding why Swift hesitated.
"And you can call me dad"says Brody's dad with a smile.
"...ok" "goodnight m...mum and d...dad"says Swift closing his eyes and drifting into sleep with a smile on his face.
"Goodnight son"says Brody's parents turning off the light and closing the door.
