When we got back to the freak show, Jimmy brought me to his mother's caravan. I was pretty sure Dell had broken my nose or maybe even worse. My teeth...

"What happened to her, Jimmy?" Ethel asked, very concerned.

"Dell is what happened. He ruined our date and she tried to stop our fight. that resulted in this." Jimmy explained, pointing at me.

Ethel looked at me and inspected the damage. She did not look to thrilled to know it was Dell who punched me.

"I think yer nose is broken, hun. Yer teeth are intact, which is quite the surprise. Let me bandage yer nose der, and you'll just have to be careful for the next few weeks." Ethel explained. I felt a rush of relief.

"Dell has got to go, mom. I'm going to talk to Elsa about it right now." Jimmy rushed off to Elsa's tent.

Ethel turned to me once he was gone and smiled sadly.

"Dell is not a good man. It don't take a genius to see tha but...can ya keep a secret?" she looked over to me, and I nodded.

"I was once with Dell. I was his wife some time ago...what Jimmy don't know bout Dell is...Dell's his dad." Ethel sobbed and tears slid down her cheeks. I immediately rushed over to hug her.

"It was good for a while, but y'see...Dell is all about the money. He don't care bout no one but himself." Sniffling she finally smiled at me.

"You and Jimmy...you kids have a chance at love and life," I was shocked that she even knew Jimmy and I had true feelings for each other, "I want you to know you have my blessing, Rhiannon. You keep my boy happy."

"Ethel, I'm so glad to hear that. I really care deeply for Jimmy." I said blushing.

"Well that boy is surely in love with you, girl. He's just been talkin and talkin bout you. I'm happy ta see both of you happy."

By this time, Jimmy had come back and we decided to go have a freakish sexy moment in his trailer.

Morning after...

I sat down beside Pepper and Suzi while having breakfast. We were all listening to a scratchy radio play a rock n roll song.

Soon enough, Jimmy walked up and switched it to the local station.

"Hey! We were listening to that." Suzi pipped up.

Ignoring her, he turned up the news channel. It was a broadcast about the missing cop and the murders in Jupiter.

I gave Jimmy a side glance and he instantly grabbed my hand. I blushed.

Not even minutes later, there were two police officers here asking for the proprietor.

"You're looking for Elsa Mars. I'll show you to her tent." Jimmy said and he left with the two police.

I felt so nervous. I felt sick. Weak.

I just hoped that they would not question Jimmy. I really liked him and I did not want him to get caught for what was self-defense.

Once he came back, I was listening to the radio when I heard something strange. Once I tuned in, I realized what it was. I turned it up as loud as the radio could go.

It was the Swedish Rhapsody; a numbers station...Elsa also recognized and yelled at me to turn it off.

I searched for more and found the Lincolnshire Poacher. I knew what that one specifically meant.

It meant I might have to leave...
