Edward Mordrake part 1.

I was waiting for Jimmy in his trailer when I heard the sound of music and someone singing wonderfully...

..following the sound, I found Elsa on stage with Eve, Paul and Toulouse. Elsa was singing an amazing song and I almost forgot about Mordrake before he appeared next to me in a cloud of green smoke.

I just kept watching Elsa, trying to ignore him. He spoke up,

"Don't think I don't recognize you. I don't believe I'm here for you Miss Williams, but we will see later..." he walked away, leaving me dumbfounded.

I shook out if my trance when Elsa finished her beautiful number. I clapped for all of them, as they had all done a great job.

"Oh danke. Danke my kitty. But where did the man go?" Elsa asked.

"...Uhm...I think he'll be back." I said and walked to Jimmys trailer. My heart dropped to see he had not returned. I was really worried now.

Sighing, I decided to get ready for bed. If Jimmy decided to come back to me...he would find me in his bed.

I really hoped he wasn't cheating on me with Maggie. Tears streamed down my pale face as I tried to smoke a cigarette to calm my nerves.

Soon the room was covered in green fog. My heart started pounding; I felt like it was the end for me.

"Tell me, young Rhiannon. Tell me your worst fears and deepest sorrows, my dear."

1938

For some time, it was just my family all together. I didn't remember much of my childhood. As far as I'm concerned, it was a hazy blur of being drugged by my parents. A mild sedative to make me coerce to anything.

My sister, who I haven't seen in years, had some of the same features I did; a tail and two different colored eyes.

For a few years it was circuses, then my father up and left one night. I think he took my sister, because she was gone the same night.

My mother sold me to a freak show, but...I didn't last long. They hated me.

1941

Soon after the war started, I found myself in a circus in London. When they went bankrupt, I had to reduce myself to selling my body...in many brothels and peep shows.

I stopped that by the time I was fifteen, and just hung out like a bohemian. Sleeping in trees and haylofts; stealing food from market stalls.

Oddly enough, I found myself recruited by the MI5. I guess my Freak status was more famous than I knew.

I worked for them for a while until I had to quit for certain reasons. I found myself in the United States in 1950.

For two years I tried to find a freak show, but I soon learned that freak shows were a dying breed...

By the time I had reached Jupiter and even heard of Elsa, it had been two years since I had arrived...

Now I lived here and am romantically involved with Jimmy Darling.

Edward Mordrake was very pensive. The second head began to speak. It was very inaudible and incomprehensible.

"You...we've met before. We are surprised at your story but very touched. You are not the one we are taking tonight. " and with that, Edward Mordrake left.

I curled up in bed and fell asleep waiting for Jimmy...
