Five-finding you in the apocalypse

I had been stuck in the apocalypse for 6 months, wondering finding supplies and clothes. it was coming up to my birthday and I just felt so empty, not being able to sneak out and running all the way to griddy’s, the laughs filling the room as we devoured our tasty snacks. That was all over now. I broke the glass door to a shopping centre (he is still too week atm to special jump) scouring the racks for any clothes that looked like they would fit me “hello?” I stopped in my tracks, a girls voice echoed through the aisles “hello?”

y/n’s pov

“hello?” I heard back, excitedly I gathered my items before walking round a corner. There was a boy my age “are you real?” I asked scared I was hallucinating again “yeah I’m real, what’s your name?” the boy asked putting his things down and coming closer to me “y/n and you are?” “five hargreeves” he replied sticking his hand out for me to shake, I obliged with a smile.

Five and I decided to stay together since it would be better for the both of us, it’s now December 23rd, we had set up a little camp in the ruins of a library “so tell me more about your family, I know you have six siblings but what are they like?” I asked coming to sit next to him “well there’s number one-“ “luther” he smiled “yeah very good, he’s super strong…well physically not mentally then number two” he paused as I thought about the name “diego?” I asked a little unsure “yes perfect, he comes off mean but he’s actually really caring” I shuffled closer to five resting my head on his shoulder “number 3 she’s smart but too full of herself too stuck up” he sighed grabbing my hand “number 4” he paused again “klaus aka my new best friend” he laughed lightly at my remark before speaking again “yeah klaus, he’s by far the funniest person you will ever meet, not very smart-in the fact he chooses wrong decisions but that doesn’t matter he’s awesome” “number 6, ben he’s so sweet he loves to read and is really smart you will get on perfectly” he said slowly rubbing small circles on the back of my hand “number seven vanya she is smart too and very talented, she plays the violin and loves to write” he smiled “they sound amazing I cant wait to meet them” “thank you y/n”

Time skip for them being 17

Five and I were dancing together- fireflies surrounding us, the moon shinning down “five stop! It tickles” I laughed as five tickled my side “let me think about that, hmm uum no!” he smiled before tickling me again “do you think we will be stuck here for ever?” I asked resting my head on fives shoulder. Five stopped swaying, gently lifting my head up to look at him “y/n I know things are terrible right now but I’ve been thinking, I know we are only 17 but I honestly have never felt this way before-“ “five where is this going?” I asked scared “what-what I’m trying to say is y/n y/l/n (your last name) will you marry me?” five asked getting quiet towards the end, I paused in shock “yes! I don’t know exactly what that means but yes!” I said smiling, five’s smile grew bigger “me neither but ben told me it’s something you do when you really love someone”

“ahhh!” are the only words five and I could get out as we both fell out of the portal. Finally we hit the ground simultaneously. “am I still high or do you see five and a random girl?” a man asked as 4 other people stood with him (btw I’m sorry if you are a boy you can change it if you want again I’m sorry). “five?!” I groaned sitting up, I turned to the adults with confusion plastered on their faces.

“everyone this is y/n” five said pointing towards me “hi” I said quietly “it’s been 17 years” luther said standing up Infront of five blocking him from walking any further “it’s been a lot longer than that” five scoffed before special jumping behind him and back beside me. I looked around at the 6 adults staring back at me “who is she?” “y/n” klaus and ben conversed “hi you must be ben, I didn’t see you outside I’m y/n” I smiled waving towards him “you can see him?!” klaus yelled “see who? Five asked tuning back into our conversation “your brother, he’s right there” I said pointing at ben “of course she can see you klaus” “no no the other one ben” I laughed pointing once again at ben, “she can see me!” ben exclaimed to klaus with a smile “am I not supposed to see you?” I asked looking at him “she can hear me!” “umm y/n our brother well he died a while ago” Allison said looking down at the table “wait you can see ben?” “klaus! You told us ben wasn’t here!” “this is crazy” in panicked I’ve not had this much anxiety in so long “guys! Stop fighting” I shouted “y/n you can see dead people? We spent 45 years together and you never told me?” five said grabbing my attention “I didn’t know! Its only just happened, sweetheart don’t be mad at me you know I would have told you if I knew” I said taking the knife from five and finishing the sandwiches “I’m not mad darling but that doesn’t matter, we have bigger issues…Remember” five whispered to me “are you his girlfriend?” klaus asked getting off the table to stand next to us “well-“ I started only to be cut off by five “no klaus, she’s my wife” five smirked before taking a bite out of his sandwich and dragging me away by my arm “OMG OMG OMG!” “klaus calm down”

I’m really sorry for not posting I’ve just not been feeling very well at the minute, tomorrows my birthday and I’m planning on doing a ‘what they are like on your bday ’chapter again I’m sorry and I know this chapter is absolutely terrible but I’m really trying. Have a good day❤️
