Nothing. We have jumped too far.we looked at each other petrified.we ran to the umbrella academy,or should I say what was left of it.”VANYA! DAD ANYONE” five yelled “KLAUS!BEN COME ON PLEASE ANSWER!” I screamed, we entered the destroyed building searching for anything, we spotted a hand poking out from some rocks clutching a glass eyeball. It was an older bigger Luther. We knew by the identical tattoo on his wrist. We turned around to two more bodies, “DIEGO NO!” I ran up checking if he really was dead “y/n its going to be ok well get back I promise” five said to me holding his own tears back. We turned the corner and I couldn’t hold in my tears anymore I dropped  to my knees five engulfing me in a hug as I fell, there dead on the rubble was Klaus my best friend, I knew it was him from the friendship bracelet I gave him around his wrist, “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have dragged you along with me I’m so sorry y/n”

TIME SKIP a couple weeks later
“so we have a jug off water., four cans of soup tomato to be precise and a container of roaches.” I said as cheerily as I could all things considered “thanks y/n I really appreciate you scavenging for food” I smiled “and I appreciate you working your ass off to get us home” he smiled back at me before continuing writing in vanya’s book we found in a still standing library. “do you think well get back to them?” I asked tearing up five stopped writing and put the book in the cart before sitting on  the bed with me “no y/n I don’t think we will, I KNOW we will” I smiled through the little tears he wrapped his arms around my shoulders pulling me into a hug kissing the top of my head, “hey its ok, actually I have something for you” five said before turning and reaching into the cart, he pulled out y/f/b (your favourite book) “oh five you remembered!” “now I couldn’t resist picking it up for you” I smiled “thanks five really” I said before laying on the bed delving into my book”

Time skip 45 years
The handler had sent myself and five to assassinate president JFK, but little did they know we where biding our time until we got the equation right “are you ready?” I was excited and very nervous “ready as ill ever be” five grabbed my hand and opened the portal “WE DID IT!” five yelled just then a fire extinguisher flew in from the other side almost hitting me we ducked and shared a look before continuing through. We paused in the air before falling onto the ground I yelp at the impact. After opening my eyes I jolted up frantically searching for them, I turned and they were there “am I still high or do you see little five and eight?” Klaus asked Allison I couldn’t help it anymore I talked him into a hug “I’ve missed you so much klausy” I said with tears running down my face, “ awe bunny I’ve missed you too” “its like that is it? “I turned my head towards Diego he was stood above us “get up and give me a hug!” he said holding back tears. I got up from Klaus and hugged him, I missed his hugs he was always so warm.

A little while later we where all sat in the kitchen. I was sat on the table with Klaus the others around us, even Ben was there I gave him a little wave the others just looked confused. “why are you guys looking at me like that? I’m waving at Ben duh! He’s standing over there” I said pointing towards him “oh um y/n Ben's…Ben died” Luther said my smile dropped my lip trembling I looked back at him “really?” I asked my voice trembling “y/n I’m so sorry you had to find out this way i-I uh died on a mission after you disappeared” he responded with a quick comforting smile, Klaus grabbed a hold of my hand to comfort me.
“what’s the date? The exact date” five asked “the 24th” vanya replied “of?” five huffed “march” she said looking at us all “good” five said grabbing the peanut butter and bread. “its been 17 years!” Luther exclaimed stepping in fives way, I scoffed “its been a lot longer than that” I replied “were did you both go?” vanya asked “the future” five started I turned to Klaus “its shit by the way” “called it!” Klaus exclaimed raising his hand, “how’d you get back?” Diego questioned “ in the end I had to project our consciences forward into a suspended quantum state version of ourselves that exist in every possible instance of time.” Five explained they all looked at him in disbelief “that makes no sense” I chuckled a little “well it would if you were smarter” five smirked Diego stood up but Luther stopped him, “ he doesn’t mean it” I said back with a smile “how long were you there?” Allison asked “  45 years give or take” five said with a fake smile “so what are you saying? Your 58?” Luther asked puzzled “No our consciences are 58, we appear to be in our 13 year old bodies” “guess we missed the funeral” I said as five passed me the newspaper “how’d you know about that?” “what part of the future do you not understand?” five said handing me my sandwich “thanks love” I replied hopping off the table “OMG! YES FINALLY! Now little missy we need to have a talk! And you five I need you both!” Klaus said smirking causing me to chuckle lightly.
