Being an idol wasn't easy. Especially if you're Chanhee. He had a very sensitive body. If he did anything out of the ordinary his body didn't take it so well. Today was unfortunately one of those days.

The night before Chanhee came home more exhausted than ever, he passed out as soon as they got home. Meaning he didn't have dinner, and his body didn't take it so well when he didn't eat for more than a few hours. And this morning they were in such a rush because Eric and Kevin took forever in the shower.

So now he was without dinner and breakfast, which was not good when you're an idol that practices for 6 hours a day.

He felt sick to his stomach and he was hungry. But he didn't say anything to anyone, they had enough to worry about.

And it wasn't until their break that anyone noticed anything. Chanhee sat on the bench as soon as it started.

He went through his bag to see if he had any money to get something from the vending machine. If he didn't eat anything within the next ten minutes he was sure he'd pass out.

"Hey, what are you looking for?"

Chanhee looked up to see his fellow band mate standing over him.

"Money, do you have any loose change?" Chanhee asked.

"Maybe, you can check my bag." Juyeon shrugged.

Chanhee reached over for Juyeon's bag and dug through it for loose change. He found a couple dollars. Better than nothing.

"You okay? You hate eating during practice." Juyeon frowned.

He's right. Lie lie lie lie.

"What makes you think it's for food?" Chanhee raised an eyebrow.

"There is literally nothing else you'd be asking me for money for." Juyeon quickly replied.

He has a point. Damn it.

"Whatever. I'll be back." Chanhee tsked. He opted for just walking away, he couldn't think of another lie anyway.

Only, he forgot how annoyingly persistent Juyeon was. He followed Chanhee out to the vending machine.

"You haven't eaten, have you?" He asked as Chanhee inserted the change into the machine.

Chanhee nearly jumped out of his skin, not realizing that Juyeon had in fact followed him.

"God, don't sneak up on people." Chanhee hissed.

"Answer my question, Chanhee." Juyeon demanded.

Chanhee gnawed at the inside of his cheek and looked up at Juyeon with the doe eyes that let Juyeon know everything he needed to know. Juyeon sighed heavily.

"Chanhee..." Juyeon breathed.

"I didn't mean to." Chanhee pouted. "I was exhausted last night and I fell asleep as soon as we got home, and this morning I couldn't shower because Eric and Kevin were hogging the showers- and you know I hate showering after eating so I couldn't-"

Chanhee had a bit of a rambling habit, whenever he got nervous or upset he started talking and he did not stop until someone actually cut him off.

"Chanhee, slow down. Talk any faster and you're gonna pass out right here." Juyeon said as he put a hand on a Chanhee's shoulder. "Eat something then I'm calling practice. You need to get real food in your system, one protein bar won't keep you going for the next four hours."

Chanhee nodded with a frown as Juyeon walked back to the practice room. He felt guilty. Now the group would fall behind because of him. He sat on the bench next to the machine with his snack as he waited for everyone to leave.

Soon everyone walked out of the practice room, Juyeon coming out last with Chanhee's bag. He stayed behind while the rest went back to the dorms.

"Don't do that." Juyeon said firmly, taking a seat next to Chanhee.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Chanhee said, eyes falling down to his lap.

"So you're not feeling guilty because I called practice early?" When Chanhee didn't answer Juyeon nodded. "Thought so. Look, Chanhee it's not your fault Eric and Kevin are clean freaks. They should know by now that showering after eating doesn't help with bloating."

Chanhee snickered at the last comment, which was a very clear and poor attempt at comedic relief.

"We won't fall behind, you don't have to worry about that." Juyeon reassured him. He threw an arm around Chanhee's shoulder, giving him a light squeeze. "Let's go home."

"Thank you." Chanhee said with a grateful smile.

Juyeon was really the only one that understood how Chanhee's mind worked. Chanhee was very introverted and Juyeon understood perfectly to what extent. And for that, Chanhee was eternally grateful.

"What good is this group if we don't look out for each other?" Juyeon replied with a comforting smile.

"As good as gone." Chanhee finished. It was a phrase the group kind of lived by, is was cheesy sure but it rang true on so many levels.

And so Juyeon and Chanhee returned to the dorms behind everybody else, Juyeon even scolded Kevin and Eric in honor of Chanhee.

So it was a happy ending for everyone.
