Thalia's POV

Hello! Hola! Aloha! 

Let me start of by saying I hate school. I have been sick all weekend, and I have an assignment due on Monday. Ugh. I'll just ask Annabeth to help. I got charmspeak from my mom and summoning lightning from my dad. My brother got the flying. That's fine because like my aunt I am scared of heights. 

Anyway this week has been the worst. A hellhound came into school so I had to fight it with Charlie and Esperanza. Then E had to call Hazel and she had to bend the mist. 

So anyway back to reality. 

I was at my locker, putting away my books when the jock of my high school, Edward Stevens, walked over.

"Hey babe!" He said

I rolled my eyes.

"Oh come on Edward. Why don't you go and say hi to your girlfriend Ash. Or Sage. Or- ok my point is you have a lot of girlfriends."

Edward grinned. "I'll dump 'em all for you."

I rolled my eyes again and put a fake smile on my face! "Ok! We can go out to dinner at the never cafe, and never o'cloak, on never day, sepnever 97th!"

I heard a snicker behind me. I turned around to see Charles Jackson, my parents best friends son. 

"Just leave her alone Edward." He said.

I glared at Edward. Charlie looked at me.

Use it! He mouthed.

NO! I mouthed.

He gave me a look.

I rolled my eyes.

Fine I grumbled.

"Please go away Edward." I used my charmspeak.

His eyes glazed over. "Ok," he said cheerfully.

Charlie grinned at me. "Useful skill," he said.

"Oh come on you know that I only like using it for good," I said.

"Ugh your to niceeee!" Charlie teased.

I rolled my eyes.

I felt my cheeks go hot. You see I have had a crush on him since the second grade when he punched a girl who was bullying me about my ADHD. 

He smiled. "Ok well I have to go to class. History."

"Oof with Mrs. Never?" I asked, "yeah she's a stinker."

Charlie laughed. "Yeah well got to go find class never and say hi to my good friend never. Oh and tell my mom I said never."

I laughed as he walked away.

"Oooooo! Thalia's got a boyfriend." I heard  E say behind me. 

I rolled my eyes. "Shut up."

She linked her arm through mine. "So." She said, "how is your dads head? I heard he got hit with  another brick."

I laughed. "He's fine. He is in bed eating his favorite snack, stapelers."

E and I liked to make fun of our parents. 

Oh! I just realized I forgot to say what we look like!

 I have hair that is brown but looks blond in the sun (I get it from both my parents, my mom the brown and my dad the blond) and eyes that change colors from blue to green to grey (get it from my mom). I also have freckles all over my face ( get it from my Aunt Thalia). 

E Valdez has long curly hair (from her dad) and almond colored eyes (from her mom). Her skin is tan and she is tall, which is funny considering that she was taller than her dad at age 12. 

Charlie Jackson has a mop of black hair (from his dad) and gray eyes with sea green specks in them (from both parents) he is tall and has a lot of mussels but not grossly.

We are all very good friends. E is dating Sammy Zhang and I have a crush on Charlie but I don't know if he likes me back. Everyone says he does though. 

Anyway we were laughing, but when we got to class, something weird happened. A boy from our grade was spitting up blood on the floor, our classmates standing terriefied around him. 

"Move it," I said putting in my charmspeak because this was important. I froze when I saw who is was. 

"Charlie!?" E yelled.

I put my hand on his forehead. "He's burning up."

I pulled out some nectar from my bag and handed it to him. After he started to cool down I glared at him.

"What?" He whispered hoarsely. 

I hit him it the arm. "WHAT THE HECK?! DON'T SCARE ME AND E LIKE THAT EVER AGAIN!!!!"

He grinned cheekely. "Never."

I rolled my eyes. That joke was getting old. 

E and I helped him up. The slut of our school came over.

"Babe are you ok?" She asked, rubbing her hands on his muscles. 

"Go away Celeste," I rolled my eyes. I hadn't relized I used my charmspeak until her eyes glazed over.

Later that day E, Charlie, and I were all at Charlie's house doing homework. Charlie looked really nervous for some reason. We sat in silence until E excused herself to go to he bathroom.

 Charlie looked at me. 

"What?" I asked.

He took a deep breath. "Umm I kind of like you and was wondering if you would like to go out with me but if you don't then it's o-"

I stopped him by closing the gap between us. Then I heard slow clapping. 

E and Charlies younger siblings were all looking at us, smiling.

"About time!" Selina said.

"I was getting bored." Said Cast

"I felt like Grover all the time!" E complained.

Charlie and I blushed. 

"So is that a yes?" Charlie asked.

I hit his arm. "Yes it's a yes dummy!"

He grinned. 

I stuck my tongue out at him.
