(Y/N) was silent on the floor, knees pulled up to her chest and back pressed against the hard surface of the bedroom door.  Sunlight peeked through the leaves of the trees outside and into the open double doors leading outside.  The girl didn't move, afraid to make any sound to alert the waking killer on the other side of the door to her presence.  Locking the door might have been pointless, she knew the lock was broken and wasn't turning from the inside, which she is why she even bothered to lock it in the first place.  She also knew one of her friends was going to fix it for her but couldn't remember if she had actually done it.  I'll find out soon...

The sounds of slow movement in the room behind her went quiet for a few moments before there was two soft bumps against the floor.  She realized it must have been his boots, meaning he was already getting up.  Panic began to set in as soft footsteps slowly made their way toward her.  Every step seemed to match up with a beat of her heart, making the steps echo in her head as they approached.  She hadn't thought of what she would do when he woke up and she still had no way of knowing what he would do when he saw her, he certainly seemed like the unpredictable type.  The footsteps stopped on the other side of the door making (Y/N) cover her mouth with her hands and hold her breath to keep from making too much noise.  The smart thing to do would have been to move away from the door while he was still waking up but curiosity got the better of her, she didn't want him to know she was there but she wanted to know what he would do upon waking up in a small lit bedroom instead of the entity's realm.

(Y/N) looked up at the door handle as it slowly turned, clicking softly.  For some reason it seemed like he was also trying hard to be quiet.  Like he knew someone was listening.  Does he know I'm here?  The handle stopped turning suddenly and was released.  (Y/N) could hear the lock being turned now but it sounded like it wasn't moving either.  He was locked in.  The thought gave her momentary relief, until she heard his voice that is.  It was soft and gentle, making her heart flutter in her chest at how calming he sounded.  His voice was like a seductive lullaby that hummed through the door behind her, making her want to instantly melt at the sound.  She had no idea what he was saying however, even if his voice wasn't muffled from the door in between them she already knew he spoke Korean, and she didn't.  Despite the loud thumps of her heart, she stayed quiet, listening to his voice fade to silence and hoping he would move away from the door.  After a few silent moments she removed her hands from her face to breathe easier and turned to the door a little more to try to tell what he was doing in there.   It stayed silent, is he going to try the window next?

There was a sudden loud bang against the door that made her jump away to the wall opposite the door and yelp out in fright, her hand on her heaving chest as she stared back at the door.  She could hear him laughing on the other side just like he did in the game he belonged to.  Did he know she was there the whole time?  That must have been why he was speaking before he hit the door, he was talking to her.  The giggles faded and he said something else that she couldn't understand before falling silent again.  Was he waiting for a response?

(Y/N) took a deep breath to calm her heart that was still racing after that jumpscare and spoke, trying to keep the quiver out of her voice and failing miserably. "D-do you speak English?" There was a pause and she honestly didn't expect him to answer.  Once again she was surprised.

"....Hello sweetheart, I was hoping you weren't ignoring me.  What's you name love?" (Y/N) shivered at his words, and not in a good way.  His voice was close to the door and gave her that melting feeling again which she quickly decided she didn't like.  She was in trouble if the mere sound of this man's voice made her body feel weakened.  She could hear that slight giggle in his voice every few words and though the pet names were making her have butterflies in her stomach,  the low, slow, sweet way he spoke reminded her of the big bad wolf trying to convince little red riding hood to come closer.  Like a predator trying to soothe his prey into a false sense of security.  Nevertheless, she answered him.

"My name is.... is (Y/N)" There was another low chuckle from the other side of the door.  Even she could hear the uncertainty and shakiness in her own voice.  She sounded weak and she knew he could tell.

"(Y/N), what a sweet sounding name.  It fits your sweet sounding voice.  Do you know who I am?" The butterflies and blushing grew worse with every word he spoke and not wanting to stutter again, (Y/N) responded with a quick "m-hmm".  "Of course you do, you're the reason I'm here, aren't you?  You must be a very dedicated fan to have gone this far.  I'm impressed, why don't you open the door so we can see each other?  Don't you want to see me sweetheart?"

She could tell he was crouched down by the door to talk to her on her level since she was still on the floor, still trying to make her comfortable.  She couldn't tell if he was trying hard to convince her to let him out or if this was how he normally spoke.  Whatever it was, he was very good at it. She almost wanted to let him out, almost felt safe enough to talk to him face to face.  Almost.  However it was clear he thought she was a crazy fan who had managed to kidnap him and she knew there was a fan a little like that in his backstory.  And it didn't end well for them...

"... um... J-Ji-Woon, I'm not a fan like that, and I'm not letting you out.  I know you would try to hurt me, o-or worse, and I didn't bring you here... you just kind of... fell out of the sky."  Honestly why do you think I'm scared of you in the first place if I'm a fan?  There was a long pause, there wasn't even a disbelieving giggle from his side.  If he was thinking through what she said, (Y/N) figured this might be the best opportunity to tell him everything she knew, about the game and his backstory written in it, about all the people he's killed and what he did to them, about him ending up in The Fog as one of The Entity's killers.  And about him now being someone who was no longer a celebrity in the world he came from and no longer a killer to be known and feared by survivors in trials.  He was now a fictional character in a game to everyone but (Y/N).

The only one who knew him in this world was the girl on the other side of the door.
