It was extraordinarily foggy this night, the heavy mist thick enough to block everything beyond the windows from sight except for a few darker silhouettes of the trees at the edge of the tree line. Not that (Y/N) minded, it was late in the evening on a Friday which meant it was the perfect time to play games or watch a scary movie. Preferably with her friend who was supposed to show up an hour ago but now seemed like a pretty good time to give up on that hope. Her fingernail dragged down the glass following the water droplets on the other side as she thought about what to watch, what to play, or whether or not she should just go to bed. It was after midnight at this point so sleep was definitely an option. (Y/N) let her head rest against the cool glass with a sigh and began mumbling to herself in a sing-song voice. "What to do, what to do... I'm super bored, my friend isn't coming and I don't know what to do...." And I'm taking to myself... why the hell did I choose to live alone! The thought crossed the girls mind for the hundredth time that night as she stood up and walked up the nearby stairs to the loft bedroom above. She lived by herself in what most would consider a 'tiny house' (though it wasn't actually that tiny and was of similar size to your average one-person apartment) at the edge of a beautiful lake. She wasn't completely secluded in the middle of nowhere, there were neighbors nearby and full-sized houses across the lake that were easy to see on a clear night along with lights from the fairly large town beyond them. Campers with tents would also occasionally stay on the side of the lake she was on.
(Y/N) plopped onto her bed and rolled onto her stomach, her skirt pulling up as it tangled around her legs. She half-mindedly shoved it mostly back over her legs while opening her gaming laptop with her other hand. No one was here to see, so who cares. Her mind went back to deciding what to do while the computer started up, her eyes glossing over the room for some kind of inspiration. Her gaze stopped on the windows as a thought finally popped into her head and a smile graced her lips. Once her desktop screen appeared she immediately clicked the icon for the game Dead By Daylight, one of her favorites. With the fog outside being as ridiculously thick as it was, what better time to 'enter the fog' and play a few killer rounds!
The girl rolled onto her back and lifted her phone above her head, sending a quick text to her friend while the game started, the sound of the advertisement for the new dlc 'All-Kill' playing on the screen behind her. (Y/N) mimicked the screams heard in the video while texting 'I'm going to bed now, if you're still on your way here from class just stop back at your place. We'll talk tomorrow.' She reached behind her to spam the spacebar on the keyboard after the video ended to start the game and tapped send on her phone. Once her friend texted back a simple 'ok' (Y/N) rolled back onto her stomach and began her game, giggling at the size difference when she switched her killer choice from The Huntress to The Trickster. He was supposed to look more human of course but it just made him look so smol. She gave a shall smile and wave to the screen when The Trickster turned around and winked at her and began scrolling through various things on her phone while waiting for a match.

"What are you gonna do now Meg, want to jump off the world with me?" (Y/N) laughed while staring at her computer screen in the darkness. It was almost three in the morning when (Y/N) was finishing up her last match. She had no clue what was happening but there must have been something going wrong with the lobby since she was currently chasing the last survivor around the edge of the map OUTSIDE the exit gates. All the other survivors had either been sacrificed or left, but there was one last Meg who somehow didn't make it through who was being chased by The Trickster who for some reason wasn't blocked by the entity as he followed her. (Y/N) and the last player were running circles around each other, neither really doing anything to end this hilarious situation. She watched as Meg tried one last time time get through the gate by running in and out then turned The Trickster to walk off the edge of the map. As The Trickster stepped off the edge into a fall-

I wrote the first three chapters after waking up way too early this morning and needing something to fill the boredom. This chapter might be boring but I wanted to emphasize how BORING and lonely living alone can be. A lot of it might be boring or not make sense actually, I'm not sure. I didn't edit any of these chapters and I wrote it on my phone in the dark. It also will not let me capitalize my i's for some reason. I don't actually have time to write this story so if anyone reads this and wants me to continue past these first three chapters, let me know. Toodles.
