Five

Jax and the rest of the Sons stood face to face with the Mayans, making yet another deal with them. Things were tense because no one in SAMCRO trusted the mexicans, anything could happen. The history between the two have been nothing but bitter and backstabbing actions 

“So I heard that your old lady was in the hospital. And uh, how’s your little girl? Melena…right?” A member from the Mayans spoke up with a smirk. 

Jax rushed forward and punched the guy in the face. “That is none of your fucking business. How do you know that?”

“Calm down Jackie boy.” Chibs forcefully pulled Jax back. 

“I’m not going to ask again, ese. How the fuck do you know about my family?” Jax growled. 

The guy shrugged. “Just the word around town, blondie. You might wanna be careful. Those beautiful girls of yours could be some serious leverage to someone trying to hurt the MC.”

The guys knew that every thing that Mayan was saying…was true. But the question on everyone’s brain, is how information about Copeland and Melena got out and spread so fast. This was the last thing that Jax wanted for his family; he thought them moving to Charming would be beneficial for them but he might have been completely wrong about that. 

Jax nodded. “Yeah, well. If you ever try to use that leverage…I will cut your heart out. This little meeting is over.” He sighed, walking over to his bike without another word. 

“I want a patched member watching my sister at all times until we figure this shit out.” Juice directed towards Jax as everyone got ready to go back to the clubhouse. 

Jax nodded. “I was about to suggest the same thing brother. I don’t like the information they have on my girls.” He mumbled.

The Sons rolled up into their usual spaces at the clubhouse and Jax immediately spotted Copeland at the picnic table, talking to Tara. That’s a sight he thought he would never see. Everyone was pretty aware of the tense situation between Tara and Copeland, they had absolutely no positive feelings towards each other. Ever since Copeland came back to Charming, Jax started doubting everything he had with Tara and she could not stand that. How could a girl ten years younger than him have such an effect? 

Jax continued to walked over to the two women. He nodded at Tara and looked over at Copeland and smiled as he grabbed her hand, pulling her to her feet. 

“Hey babe.” Jax pecked her lips, causing Tara to cringe. 

“Hi.” She whispered back. 

He looked into her chocolate brown eyes, sensing a hint of sadness lingering in them. 

“You okay?” 

She nodded. “I’m still trying to cope with the fact that we’re not having another baby anymore.”
