Okay, so I am doing some skipping. I just wanted to give you all a little bit of background information because otherwise you would be extremely confused so yeah... okay so I am going to jump to Captain America and the Winter Soldier in 2014.
Elena's POV
"Bring in the Assets."
We were brought into the room with the chair and dad was given a mission.
"Your mission is to assassinate Nick Fury. He is a threat and needs to be eliminated. You will bring the shadow with you in case of any complications."
I saw dad clench up at the thought of taking me with him but no one else noticed. We were then led from a room to a truck that would take us to where this Nick Fury person was.
I watched as a police car hit the man from the side and the car spun out of control. Now they were ramming into him from all sides. HYDRA men were getting out of a police car with guns and started firing at the car. They got a battering out of the police van and set it up outside of the door to the man's car. The legs locked into place on the ground and hit his car once, twice, three times before he started shooting everyone outside.
He blew up the van and a car before his car drove away. HYDRA chased him down the street as he drove away. He was sandwiched between two cars and he took out the man that was shooting at him. He slowed down and the cars on both sides of him ran into the intersection and got hit by a yellow eighteen wheel truck.
He slammed on the gas as he went through the intersection. Dad walked at him as he was speeding down the street. He fired a bomb at the bottom of his car and it exploded seconds later. He sidestepped the car as it flipped by him. When he got to the car he ripped off the door and the man was gone, HYDRA wouldn't like that he got away. A van picked them up before anyone else saw them and took them back to the HYDRA base.
Later at night they were sitting on a rooftop across from an apartment building apparently Nick Fury was inside.
"Dad, are we doing the right thing?"
He sighed and looked over at her.
"I don't know Junior, but we may be good people, we just don't have a choice on what we do."
"Why do you call me Junior?"
He smiled and chuckled a little at her question.
"I call you Junior because you are like a little Winter Soldier, but from what I can remember about your mom you act like her."
She looked over at her dad and smiled at him.
"I think the target is in a spot we can see."
He looked through the scope of his rifle and took aim and fired once, twice, three times in his chest. A man looked at them through the window and started chasing after them.
"Elena, Run."
It was two words but dad had never sounded more serious when talking to her. So I ran, I followed dad on top of the building when they were about to jump. The man that was chasing them threw a shield at them and dad pushed me out of the way and caught it before throwing it back at him, grabbing me and jumping off the side of the building.
They ran back to the van and were taken back to the HYDRA base.
Two days later they had a new mission, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff and anyone who is with them are threats. Jasper Sitwell needs to be eliminated because he betrayed HYDRA.
They were following them in a van. The plan was that dad would take care of Sitwell and then try to take out the rest with little difficulties. I wasn't supposed to get involved.
The plan started out great. Dad reached through the window of the car and Jasper Sitwell was tossed across the highway and hit a truck two lanes over. Dead. He grabbed a gun from his holster and shot inside the car from the roof. There was a redhead woman inside that looked at him in disbelief. Mom? Someone slammed on the brakes and he was thrown off the roof of the car. He used his metal hand to stop himself by digging it into the road. He stood up and the van I was in rammed into the car from behind and pushed it along the road.
Dad flipped on top of the car and smashed his metal arm through the windshield and took the steering wheel out of the car. When the lady started shooting at him he jumped onto the van. As the car was flipping over onto the ground the door was smashed out and the people inside tumbled to the ground riding on the car door.
Dad jumped out and was given a grenade launcher by someone, he fired it at the man with the shield who was in the same apartment as Nick Fury last night. He had chased us. He flew off the bridge and was thrown through a bus. HYDRA men were shooting at the other two people as I got out of the van. Dad wouldn't be happy with me. The woman shot at them so dad fired a grenade at her. She jumped off the bridge as the car in front of her exploded.
Dad grabbed a gun and she followed his lead and took one too. They leaned over the edge and were fired at from below by the woman. She shot her dad's goggles so he had to take them off. He shot blindly at the woman who had taken cover behind a work vehicle. She started running and Elena joined in the shooting.
(Take them. She's mine.)
I gulped. That couldn't be good. I jumped off the bridge after dad, landed on the already smashed car and walked off after him. Ugh the things I do.
The man that had crashed into the bus got out and had to hide behind a car because HYDRA was shooting at him. The other man that was still on the bridge started shooting at them and he wasn't very accurate. A police car that was coming to the scene was suddenly exploded by dad.
She walked up to him and asked.
(What should I do?)
I looked at him expectantly.
(Don't get killed and don't get hurt. Stay on the outside and look for any of the targets to take out.)
I smiled underneath the mask, I can do that. So I went off in the direction of the woman that had run off, I needed some answers.
