Chapter 13: Almost there

A few weeks later~

"Phi, you cannot just walk out of the hospital and go heisting the next movement you come out." Win said, and the other two nodded, trying to convince Gulf to stay back. It's been about 4 weeks. This much time was enough to form a family of four by inviting a new member. They were going on a heist the hotel Win wanted to raid. They still had half a day's time but Gulf was not helping at all. They wanted to relax and go to the heist but Gulf kept asking if he could go.

It was almost lunch. Mew needs to fix this so they can do the heist. He signaled Win and Win got it. He stood up and nudged Bright to do the same.  A confused Bright stood up with a 'What is going on?' expression when Win and Mew nodded at each other. "I am going to get some food for us since it is lunch time. My treat." He said as he grabbed his coat and nudged Bright to follow. Bright took his time to figure out what was going on while Win grabbed his jacket for him. "I am coming too." Bright said. "Finally genius!" Win muttered as Bright looked for the car keys.

"Maccas or Dominos?" "Maccas" "Dominos" Mew and Gulf said together, but. Everyone froze for a second waiting for someone to argue and Gulf was about to, but Bright was already pulling Win out. "Ok sure, good choice." Bright said as he closed the door. "What now?" he asked after they walked out and were in the car. "Now we buy some food." Win said as he buckled up. "Where?" Bright asked as he started the car. "Let's go get some Maccas and Dominos. I don't want Gulf  to get mad. We can get what we want." Win said. 

"Such a good kid. I'll p-" Bright started but Win cut him off. "No, I am paying. You have made all the payments till now. It's my turn." Win said with a cold glare. "Wow, there. Fine, don't go back to the mafia boss avatar. You're scary." Bright said with a fake emotion that was clearly showing that he hated the idea of Win paying. "Phi, don't be like that. You made all my payments from that day on. Just this one." Win said as his hand landed on Bright's thigh. "Just this once." Bright repeated as he calmed down a bit. Win smiled knowing he had an effect on Bright.

"Are we good now?" Mew asked as he snuggled even closer to Gulf if he could that is. They were on the bed, snuggled up together. Mew was trying to be as careful as possible. When he didn't get a response, he peeked at Gulf who had his head rested on Mew's chest. Gulf was soundly sleeping. Mew smiled a little but he needed to get up and get things ready so he slowly got up and replaced himself with a pillow.

Mew went out to find an arguing Win and Bright coming in with all the food in Win's hands. "For God's sake Bright don't act like a kid." Win said as he placed the food on the kitchen table while Bright sat on the couch. "Guys, I decided that Gulf could be the tech this time instead of Gunsmile or the other dudes. Bright nodded and went to his room. Mew and Win started eating and Bright came back with two laptops, three ear pieces and a few connectors and went to work.

"Ok, we are good to go."
