Ares (Brightwin and Mewgulf fanfiction)

Chapter 7: Doubts

After they complete their research, the four divide into two groups before they leave. BrightWin and MewGulf. 

Mew and Gulf were going to a restaurant to get some food. Both had one thing on their minds. They were going to express their love to each other. At least that is what Gulf thought. Gulf thought Mew liked him just like did. But when they were about to enter the restaurant he was mentally scolding himself for assuming things. He was not sure. He followed Mew in anyway. They sat on a table and Mew was about to say something but he stopped when he heard someone talking about Snake.

"--- so they started running after leaving those two people confused." one said. "Wait, I know all that but did you see those Ares people stomping out of the club? Their boss looked so young. I was like, 'Oh, so this is why the first time a gang was being clever.' But damn this will make a big change." the other said. 

"It sure will" Gulf said breaking the silence. "Let's grab food and go do some research." Gulf said, But in his mind all he could think of was him being a fucking coward. "Let's go...we could look for criminals and other people our age." Mew said as he picked up his drink. "What do you mean by other people?" Gulf said, and decided that it was okay to become the arguing duo for a little bit more. ""Oh, you know what I mean" Mew said throwing his hands in the air as he continued. "I thought you were being sweet with me."  

"Are you still injured?" Gulf asked and Mew started throwing a fit. Gulf felt content in his heart yet hollow.

"Stop before I beat you to pulp." Bright said, and groaned when Win still continued. "See what I mean by hot head." Win said as he touched Bright's head and pulled back instantly and acted as if his head was burning hot. "I swear to god Win-" Bright started but got cut by Win. "Fine, fine ...your no fun Mr. Hothead." Win said and giggled oh so cutely which almost melted Bright....almost. Soon they came to the end of the street and had two roads leading opposite sides. Win stopped and so did Bright. 

"Well then I need to take the left and go to the orphanage." Win said. "There is no orphanage nearby." Bright said, frowning. "But there is one 30 km away. Which way are you going?" Win said. "I'm going the same way...you live 30 km away from here?" Bright asked as they started walking, still confused. "Oh no, I am just visiting." Win says and Bright nods. Suddenly Win gets a call when he sees the name he frown and a dark aura clouds him. 

Bright was observing everything. That is why they are here anyway.

"Yes?" Win asked in a cold voice

"we have a problem here."

"hmm?"

"I think someone knows you are coming."

"Coming to where? To the Orphanage?"

"N- Yes"

"Just try to stay low."

"What for?"

"Th-"

"What for?"

"F-for nothing"

"hmmm good"

*call ends*

"Wow, I saw a different person right there. Why so serious?" Bright asked mockingly. "None of your business." Win replied in a cold and rather stressed voice. Bright rose his eyebrows at that. "Oh. its nothing Phi...just a little problem. These things always come and go." Win said and sighed. "Ok then...see yah," Bright said and walked away. Win stood there for a second and started walking in a ferocious manner as if he was trying to release his anger by walking. 

......only if he knew that Bright was following him......

They both ended up in a bar. Win was drinking non-stop while shouting at the person who looked like he was going to pee his pants for the nth time. Bright arrived just then. He followed Win here but got a call from Mew and Gulf about the new info they found which made Bright even more suspicious about the person he is suspecting. (sus)

"Leave. me. Alone," Win spat with a venomous voice. "Sir you need to-" that person started as he was about to touch Win's shoulder but was too slow for Win who pushed the hand away and spoke with the same venom still in his voice. "Leave." 

"Hey Win, what are you doing here?" Bright said, and Win turned to look at that person and scoffed. Win knew Bright followed him. "Hello there Mr. stealth king." Win said mockingly and Bright rose and eyebrow. He wanted Win to know that he was being followed.
