Sight Of War

What's the point in the sound of war,
When all our lives are within our core.
We share the same air
to breathe and care.

So how many more lives,
do we need to let die?
The children of tomorrow
are burning in our sorrows.

What if the cure for cancer was in a mind of a child,
a child that had died because we went wild.
The very race that we call humans,
act like anything apart from human.

We are scared of the animals running wild,
when the adults are the ones acting like a new born child.
Have you ever thought of why people cry?
It's because no one asks to help the young children's eyes.

Leaving them exposed to the sight of war,
then shutting the door leaving their hearts hurt and torn.
