Krieg may not be the brightest of the two personalities, but he noticed that something was wrong immediately.
First he had woken up later than usual for reasons he didn't know. He always woke up at exactly 6:00pm, but this time he woke up two hours late. That only happened if something really odd had happened.
Then he noticed signs of a fight in the area around his hide-out. It was in a nearly vacant area, only him and Rain were present in this part of the city for at least six blocks in all directions. If someone was here, it was because they were seeking a place to hide, meaning they were likely a villain like them.
The final thing that made him have a solid reason for his concern was the fact that, after following the disturbances caused by the fight, he found Rain's knife and clothes laying on the ground messily. Rain was nowhere to be found, there were no signs of him escaping.
'Jason...? '
'What, Krieg? I'm busy.'
'Rain is gone.'
'WHAT!? He was ESSENTIAL to our plans, Krieg! How could you lose him!? '
'I don't know! One day he's here, the next, poof! Taken by something! '
Krieg wanted to kill something. Krieg wanted to kill someone. Krieg wanted to kill everyone. Whoever took his friend was going to pay.
He knew he had gotten attached. He didn't care. That was his friend that was taken. He wasn't going to stop looking for whoever took Rain until they were dead. He would eat all of their limbs and force them to tell him where Rain was, then he'd eat them alive before finding him.
Rain, his only friend, is gone...
But he will make sure he isn't gone for good.
Even if he has to kill everyone and everything else in this damned city.
