Lost Wild

First Night

It was about 9:00pm by the time we got out of the pond, we were sitting on his front porch when he said, "Stay right here I got you something." I was confused on how he got me something but I stayed put.  Two minuets go by and he tells me to close my eyes, I do.

"What is it?" I asked but he didn't answer I could feel his presence in front of me and something soft touches my hand.

"Open your eyes." I listen to him and open my eyes feeling shocked as I stare at this bright red dress. It had ruffles on the shoulders, under the breast and flowing down, it would go to my knees. 

"Oh my god where did you get this and when?" He smiled brightly.

"When I went into town when I first found you, I saw so I got it." I have never seen a dress this beautiful.. well I don't think I have. "Try it on." He gestures to the house.

"Okay!" I jump up in excitement and run into the house going into the first room I seen. I quickly got out of my clothes and slipped into the dress, it fit perfectly.  I walked back out in the dress flowing, "What is this for?"

"There is a bonfire party with my group and I was thinking since I got the dress anyway you could come with me?"

"I don't think I have ever been to a bonfire." I look at the ground and he says softly,

"You have and some of the people there know you but you may not remember."

"Oh.. Okay." I was a little concerned but I think I might have fun. "It is only my first night here.. well kind of.. we have to stick together right?"

"You will stay by my side and we will be okay." He walked off back behind the house and didn't say anything, something roared to life a few moments after. I saw headlights come around and there he was on a big camo four wheeler. "Hop on sweetheart." He smiled.

The wind blowing in my hair and it felt like forever before we got to the party, everything passed by so slowly. He parked behind a huge Ford-F150, we sat there in silence and got me thinking on why he didn't change. "Am I over dressed?" I asked and he looked back at me.

"No, you are dressed fine." He got off the four wheeler and held out a hand, "Will you be in my company?" 

"Why yes I will." I smiled, hopped off the four wheeler and took his hand, He lead me over to a small group of people drinking beer from a Hogshead. Everyone smiled as we approached  along with  a few hellos. I just don't recognized any of them so I just smiled back. After a while the song Slow it down by Arionne came on and was the only one I recognized, I didn't realized that I started humming. I looked over to Hunter and he was just staring at me, a light came over my eyes and I passed out.
