-Rei's pov-
I walk onto the porch of the Nara residence knocking on the door anxiously. I run a hand through my hair blowing air out my mouth
I hear the locks click and then the door opens
"Oh Rei! How are you?" Mrs.Nara asks
"I've been better...is Shikadai here?" I ask
"I think he may be napping can you wake him up for me?" She asks letting me into the house
"I will thank you" I say smiling rushing up the stairs
I get to his door knocking on it. I wait a moment before walking in. I walk into the room seeing shikadai asleep on his bed drooling
"Shika! Shika! Shikadai!" I say tapping him
"What girl" he says groaning
"I really need to talk with you" I say
"Uh oh what have I done now" he asks
"It's not you...it's my family...I think it might be falling apart" I say Making him sit up
"Why would you say that?" He asks pulling me to sit on his bed. I sigh before speaking
"Apparently the hokage is my father" I say watching his eyes go wide
"What? How!?! Your a twin!" He says
"It's a rare case when a set of twins can have separate fathers...I am that twin" I say trying not to cry
"Oh my gosh Rei! How'd you find out?" He asks
"He took me out to eat and kind of spilled the tea" I say shrugging
"Wow that's crazy!" He says sighing
"Sarada and Kaido are always fighting! A-and my water training is so hard!" I say sighing again
"Why not tell your mom?" He asks
"She's pregnant and I don't want to stress her out" I say
"Well you need to speak to somebody other than me about it. They may be able to help you" he says rubbing my back
"I don't know what I'm going to do... where do I go from here? Do I continue to live my life ignoring the fact that the hokage is my father?" I ask out loud
"I honestly don't know but...just know I'm here for you" he says smiling at me
"Thank you!" I say smiling back
"Now come nap with me" he says pulling me down onto the bed with him
"Shika! Your mom might see us!" I whisper
"I don't care. Now sleep" he says quickly falling asleep
I sigh rolling my eyes slowly falling asleep
-Kaido's pov-
"Ma this is stupid" I say rolling my eyes
"Kaido...be quiet and stand on the log!" She says
"How is this going to work?" I ask
"If you do what I tell you to do...you'll find out" she says
I sigh slowly standing on the log so I want fall off
"Ya know mama loves you right?" She asks slowly walking over to me
"Yeah...love you to" I say
"Do you trust me?" She asks
"Trust you more than anyone" I say
"Aww I'm glad to hear but I need you to trust me on this" she says
"Oh...kay?" I say
She smiles at me before kicking the log
"Ahhh ma!" I shout
"Quickly! Put your hands out!" She says
"What?!" I scream
"Hurry before you fall to your death!" She shouts
"Huh?!"I shout again. I put my hands out in front of me closing my eyes eyes waiting to fall flat on my face
I wait few more moments for the impact but it never happens. I open my eyes seeing logs coming out my hands
Is this what stopped me?
"Ahhh you did it!!" Mom says smiling clapping her hands
"Mother as much as I love you I apologize in advance...YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME!!!" I shout
"If it didn't work I would have caught you pregnant and all" mom says
"Yeah what ever how do I get down?" I ask
"Jump" she says. I look down at her with wide eyes
"Why are you trying to kill me today?" I ask
"Boy jump! I will catch you!" She says rolling her eyes. I sigh taking a deep breath before jumping. I scream as the wooden logs disappear
Mom quickly steps over catching me
"I don't think I want to train with you" I say out of breath
"It's me or Obachan Mikasa" she says putting me down
"Valid point! I'll stick with you!" I say smiling
"Great! I want you to practice your hand signs!" She says handing me a book
"You studied these?" I ask
"Yes"she says smiling before walking away
"Hey ma!" I say before she gets into the house
"Yes?"
"Is...Naruto really Rei's real father?" I ask
"Uh No baby I don't know why he told your sister that" mom says
"Okay well I better get back to studying" I say smirking
"Okay I'll let you get back to it" she says going back into the house
