A Love Story

Moon gazes down upon Earth along with the stars shining, Eren wrapped his strong arms around the smaller male. They laid on the prince's bed together, with their eyes open, unable to fall asleep. Not long after, Levi spoke, breaking the silence. “I did not believe in any god.”

Eren was not expecting him to say that out of the blue that he just stared at the other man. He could see how Levi is not also expecting him to say something. The shorter man snuggled close to the other and said, “But I am starting to feel like there really is one.”

“Why is that?” Eren asked as he embraced him close to him.

Levi buried his face into the other man's chest as he feel his cheeks burn up. “Listen, I am only going to say this once.”

“Alright. I am listening to the prince's once in a lifetime statement.” Eren chuckled with his voice low that Levi could feel the vibrations from his man's throat down to his chest and it makes him feel butterflies in his stomach.

Levi sighed. “I once heard some people saying that god writes the best love stories. They do what they could, in their power, to mend rightful hearts into their other halves. I feel like a divine hand has intervened with what happened earlier today.”

Eren smiled. “I do not know if that is true. All I know is that I could do anything to have you back, to hold you once more.” He kissed Levi's head, inhaling the scent that he missed for so long.

With what Levi heard, he looked up into Eren's eyes with a piercing glare. “If so, then what was all that ‘living-in-the-Jaeger-household’ thing all about? You even mentioned marrying a woman.”

Eren diverted his eyes away from Levi and into the bright moon, lighting up the darkness of the night. “It was the best I could think of back then. To exchange my freedom for yours.”

Levi felt his eyes heat up, tears threatening to fall. “How could you call that MY freedom if there is no YOU?” Levi cupped the brunette's face. “If it really happened as you planned, then how am I to live without you anyway?”

“Forgive me.” It was all Eren could say as he kissed the hand cupping his face. “I was wrong. So let us be thankful how this 'god' have done all he could to keep us together for a successful love story.” Eren held Levi, pulling the smaller man towards him into a tight embrace. “I love you”.

Levi smiled, delighted at how Eren holds him so desperately close, as if he would be gone when his embrace would come loose for a second. “I love you, too.”

It has been weeks after the incident. Rod Reiss was able to escape back into his kingdom, leaving his soldiers captive to Rose kingdom. Reiss' actions and earlier corruptions was already known to his kingdom, stirring chaos  and civil war. Historia bid goodbye to Rose kingdom to travel back to Maria to claim the throne and fix the uprising  amongst the citizens. The war came to a halt and Maria is under rebuilding by Queen Historia, right into a much better country with a bright future.

Eren and Levi took a break from their palace duties after fixing everything that the incident has caused. They lazed around the palace all day, ate whatever satisfied their craving bellies and slept to their hearts content. The day was ending way to fast than Eren anticipated.

“I hope you did not forget” Eren whispered into Levi's ear as they lay down on their bed after an uneventful day.

“Your birthday?” Levi asked unamused as he pull the covers over them.

Eren halted the ravenette, cupping his face and turning him his way to get his attention. “Do not mind the blankets, they will not be of use until we finish our business.” Eren said, with a grin as he winked at him.

Levi smirked. “What is this? Are you trying to provoke me?” He neatly fan-folded the blanket and duvet down to the foot of the bed. “Though, I cannot remember saying anything that would work you up like this.”

Eren pulled Levi towards him and enclosed him in a tight embrace as he whispered into the ravenette's ear with seduction. “Yet, I do remember you suggesting to bottom for me.”

Levi's face burned red as if flames have engulfed his head as he face his past embarrassment right after they met again on his, supposedly, wedding day. “It was just a thought.” He gulped down a lump in his throat. “But it might not be that bad to try.”

“Yes, I was certain you would be riled up seeing how muscular I have gotten.” Eren started trailing small kisses on Levi's neck as he turned over, locking the ravenette underneath him.

Levi let his guard down, allowing Eren to see a different side of him, a vulnerable and adorable sight of a bunny about to be devoured by a fox. “Would you be so kind to hold me gently?” He asked Eren, his face still flushed red.

“Of course, my Prince. As you gently held me before,” Eren replied, his hands made its way underneath Levi's shirt, caressing the skin.

Levi swore he could feel trails of his touches on his skin, as though he was getting burned with how the places he touched tingles. He did his best to fight back his voice that threatened to come out as Eren touches his bare chest underneath his clothes. He gasped when the brunette brushed over his perked up nipples.

“You are so cute right now, honey.” Eren said, tweaking the ravenette's nubs, enjoying how he could visibly see his lover jolt at his touches. “Now, I really feel the urge to dominate you.”

“Well, you are now a well-built man, not the stinky brat who moans at the lightest touch I do.” Levi replied as he wrap his legs around Eren's waist. “I expect a good performance from this man.” He added as he took off his shirt, making Eren imitate the same action.

“I will do my best to please you, Your Highness.”

“You are a fucking animal!” Levi screamed at the brunette as he bury his face on the pillow. “You were like a beast in heat! I thought I was going to break.”

Eren gently caressed the ravenette's back, plastering an apologetic smile on his lips. “Forgive me, honey. I got excited and I could not stop myself. Allow me to serve you the tea you enjoy most.”

“Fine.” Levi agreed, rubbing his own bottom, trying to ease the strain. “But it doesn't mean I will let you do it again soon.”

Eren chuckled nervously as he exit their room to prepare the tea for his lover.
