Me and mum spoke on the phone later that night and I told her all about the house. She seemed a bit off though.
"Are you ok, your being quiet?"
"Oh yeah, sorry love, just a few bits I need to do. It's playing on my mind"
"Hmmm ok"
I didn't push her for answers, but something was different. I asked her about getting some flowers to Natalie's funeral and of course she was already arranging something. I wished we could have talked longer, but we had to get up early so I said my goodbyes and told her I'd get the kids to call her tomorrow. As me and the kids were going to leave for the studio quite early in the morning (not as early as Tom and Bobby), I refrained myself from any hanky panky with him that night. Even though I could have quite easily given in. Especially after seeing him dripping wet diving into the pool for the next hour after he got back.
It was like time slowed down or perhaps he himself did as he stood on the edge of the pool, the water slowly trickling down his body, muscles flexed one by one as he jumped in. He was like a god carved from marble. It was only when the water splashed my face that I remembered to blink and breathe.
Tom was leaving early again that morning, but I decided to get up at the same time and fit in a run on the treadmill. I hadn't run in a while and felt myself getting chubby. Even though I hadn't put any weight actually on, I still didn't feel quite myself.
As Tom was taking Bobby for a quick walk before they left I started my work out. I had decided not to bother talking to Tom about him arranging for the kids to come to the studio's to study. After I'd slept on it, it seemed silly to be so annoyed about it. He was just trying to help and it was sweet that he wanted them there, to be close to them.
I stretched, put my head phones on and started the treadmill up.
Slowly at first, I wanted to gain speed but knew it wouldn't be a good idea to fly back into running full marathons and sprints straight away.
I'd been running around 30 minutes when Tom appeared in the reflection of the window in front of me. He was stood at the doorway smiling, just watching me for a few moments before he came in front of the treadmill.
I dropped my headphones down around my neck and slowed the treadmill down.
"Hey, are you leaving now?" I asked him.
"Ummm yeah, the cars waiting outside to pick me up. Your car will be here at 7:30 to pick you and the kids up"
"Oh ok" I slowed right down now to say goodbye.
"How do you do that?" He looked at me puzzled.
"Do what?"
"Make running sexy"
"Huh?" I threw the puzzled look back at him.
"I could watch you on that thing all day"
"I don't think I can manage running all day" I stepped off the treadmill smiling at him and edged closer.
"Hmmm if I don't leave now I'm going to be late" his smirk was gradually creeping across his face.
"Well... Does it matter if you're late?"
"Yeah, it kinda does... Being the main character the whole crew will be waiting for me and the director will be pissed" he sighed.
I stuck my bottom lip out.
"Hmmm well perhaps you should be going, because if you don't leave now... I'm definitely going to make you late" I raised my eyebrow at him and then ran my finger up his stomach just catching the material of his t-shirt between his belly button and sternum, lifting it up slightly.
He chuckled and lent down to kiss my forehead.
"The car will drop you at the studio reception, just give them your name and Beth will come and meet you to show you around" he smiled at me.
"Ok... Ummm who's Beth?"
"Oh she's just someone who works at the studio's, like a PA or runner or something... To be honest there's so many people there I'm not sure entirely what they're actual job titles are"
I chuckled, "ok, well I'll see you when you're free?"
"Yes definitely"We kissed and said our goodbyes. I really wanted him to stay but didn't want to get him in trouble, so I had to shut my horny demon's on my shoulder up by running some more.
The kids got up at 6:30, we had breakfast and got ready. They both bought they're school bits as they were going to have their first tutoring session with Stephanie at the studio's.
Bang on 7:30 the car arrived to pick us up. The gentleman driving had a very strong southern accent. It was a bit hard to understand him, I could just about make out his name when he'd said it, Wyatt.
We thanked him when we arrived, the drive wasn't long at all so I didn't have to try for too long figuring out what Wyatt was saying.
In the reception building I gave our names and the girl behind the desk gave us all a lovely welcome.
"I'll just let Beth know y'all arrived, if y'all like to take a seat, she won't be long"
The receptionist was a very pretty, blonde haired girl. Probably in her early twenties with huge boobs and blindingly white teeth. It didn't take long for Beth to appear. She was shorter than me, had jet black hair tied up in a bun, with a black t-shirt and jeans on, a headset sat perched over her head, clipboard in hand and a radio in her back pocket. She was busy talking to someone across the headset as she cut them off and stuck out her hand for me to shake. She had a very firm handshake for such a small woman.
"Good morning Becca, my name's Beth. I'm going to give you a quick tour, settle Archie and Olivia into the conference room where Stephanie will be arriving at 9, then I'll take you to either Tom's dressing room or the set. Where ever he is. I know he's been bugging us about letting him know when you're here" she smiled at me and the kids.
"Oh ok... Lead the way"We followed Beth through different corridors to different huge rooms, buildings and sets. She was very informative about where everything was, she even drew a map as we were walking so I would be able to find the conference room again.
"Wow, I didn't realize how big this place was going to be" Archie was in his element, smiling ear to ear, absorbing everything.
"Where's Bobby?" That's all Olivia cared about.
"He'll either be with Tom in his dressing room or Anna" Beth smiled at Olivia.
"But he's being looked after yeah? Not just left alone?" She was worried.
"Oh Bobby is never on his own, everyone loves him so he gets lots of attention"
"Good. Mum can we see him once we've finished school?" I was surprised she didn't ask if she could have Bobby with her.
"I would think so"We headed back to the conference room and Stephanie was there waiting patiently for them and warmly greeted them. I helped them to settle in and left them to it. I let Stephanie know my phone number if she needed to call me.
"Any problems just let me know"
"Oh of course Becca, ummm just a Pro tip. If you're on set and they're shooting make sure your phones on vibrate" Stephanie smiled at me.
"Oh god, thanks. Don't want that going off" I let out a small laugh then followed Beth to go to where Tom was in his dressing room. When we arrived Beth knocked on the door before waiting to be told to come in. Then I heard Tom, "you may enter mortals"
