Juliet bit her tongue as she worked and listened to the plan happening between Nick and Steve and everyone else. She was modifying some stuff on her suit, attempting to keep herself busy as her mind raced.
"I didn't know about Barnes" Nick said,
"Even if you had, would you have told me? Or would you have compartmentalized that too?" Steve shot back
"SHIELD, HYDRA, it all goes"
Maria spoke up a moment after, "He's right"
Juliet looked at her hands, before looking up at Nick who stared at Sam.
"Don't look at me, I do what he does, just slower" Sam stated
"Well" Nick started, "Looks like you're giving the orders now Captain"
"Sam? Is he still out there?" Juliet asked as she knew Natasha was busy talking to Fury. Sam nodded at her, before turning to face her.
"Have you talked to your brother? Must be worried?"
"Um, no, it's alright. I'll see him soon"
"Call him" Sam suggested, knowing she wanted too
"I think it's better that I wait, like I said, I'll see him again soon. I have hope"
Juliet walked outside, Sam following her as they found Steve. "You know he's gonna be there, right" Sam said to Steve
"I know"
"Look, whoever he used to be and the guy he is now. I don't think he's the kind you save, he's the kind you stop" Sam stated, Juliet didn't anything for a moment, thinking over his words
"I don't know if I can do that" Steve answered, still not looking at anyone
"He doesn't know you" Sam added
"He will" Steve replied, finally looking at him and then Juliet
Juliet gave a sad smile, "He has hope" she whispered to Sam
Everyone was geared up moments later, Steve had taken the suit from the museum, Sam had his wings, Maria had her suit, and Juliet had her iron suit ready at the press of the button on her watch, but chose a normal suit for the moment.
"Attention all SHIELD agents." Steve started over the speakers, "This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days. Some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the trust. SHIELD is not what we thought it was. It's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader, the STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want. Absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there. If you launch those helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in there way, unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot, the price of freedom is high, always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not"
"Wow Steve," Juliet spoke
"Yeah wow Steve, did you write that down first, or was it off the top of your head?" Sam smirked
Juliet let out a small laugh at Sam's word, shaking her head.
Moments later, the helicarriers had been launched. Juliet immediately pressed the button on her bracelet, the suit forming around her as she ran next to Steve and Sam.
"Hey Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" Sam asked
"If they're shooting at you, they're bad" Steve answered
"Let's go" Juliet said, taking off into the air
Despite how nervous she was for this plan, Juliet Stark had hope.
