Back on the jet, Bruce sat with music playing over his headphones as Natasha checked on Clint. Juliet leaned against the wall, focusing on her shoes.
"Just wasn't expecting a code green" Bruce spoke softly to Natasha
"You hadn't been there" she started, "there would have been double the casualties. My best friend would've been a treasured memory."
"You know sometimes exactly what I want to hear, isn't exactly what I wanna hear" Bruce replied, looking up at her
"How long before you trust me?" she asked, "Its not you I don't trust" he said
"Thor, report on the Hulk" Natasha said
"The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims" Thor smiled, making both Natasha and Bruce look at him
"But not the screams of the dead" he attempted to save his previous statement, "of course. No no. wounded screams, mainly whimpering a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and gout"
"Hey Thor buddy" Juliet called, making a motion with her hand to signal for him to stop. He nodded at the Stark girl, turning to Steve.
"Hey Banner, Dr. Cho is on her way in from Seoul. Is it okay it she sets up in your lab?" Tony questioned
"Um yeah, she knows her way around" Bruce answered
As Jarvis took the wheel over from Tony, he walked out to Thor and Steve, the three talking over the scepter. Tony then walked over to Juliet, making her look up at him.
"You alright?" He whispered, to which she nodded. "Are you?"
Juliet walked up to her bedroom, flopping down on one of the chairs. She sat there for a few moments, going through her phone before getting up and changing her clothes.
Once changed, wearing leggings and some band t-shirt, she walked down to the lab where Bruce, Tony, Natasha, Clint and Dr.Cho were.
"She's creating tissue" she heard Bruce say as she walked over
"If you brought him to my lab, the Regeneration Cradle could do this in 20 minutes" Dr. Cho said
"That's amazing" Juliet awed as Tony walked in
"Oh he's flat-lining. Call it. Time?" Tony asked, making Juliet shake her head
"No no no, I'm gonna live forever" Clint said, "I'm gonna be made of plastic" he laughed as Tony handed him a drink
Dr. Cho smiled, "You'll be made of you Mr. Barton. Your own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference"
"I don't have a girlfriend" he said
"That I can't fix"
Juliet almost laughed, quickly sipping on her own drink.
"This is the next thing, Tony. Your clunky metal suits are gonna be left in the dust" Dr. Cho spoke
"Hey wait, doesn't that mean my 'clunky metal suit' will go too?" Juliet asked, almost bummed to hear it
"That is exactly the plan" Tony said, making Juliet look at him, "And Helen, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday."
"Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time for parties" She said before looking at them, "Will Thor be there?"
"Started out, Jarvis was just a natural language. UI" Tony explained to Bruce, "Now he runs the Iron Legion"
"You know he runs more of the business than anyone besides Pepper" Juliet chimed in
"Meet the competition" Tony said, pulling up another hologram next to Jarvis.
"It's beautiful" Bruce said, Juliet nodding
"If you had to guess, what's it look like it's doing?" Tony asked Juliet who was next to him
"Like it's thinking" She quickly answered, "This could be, well not a human mind. I mean look at this, they're like neurons firing"
"Down in Strucker's lab. I see some fairly advanced robotics work" Tony explained to Bruce, "They deep-sixed the data. But I gotta guess he was knocking on a very particular door"
"Artificial Intelligence" Bruce answered
"This could be it Bruce, Jules, This could be the key to creating Ultron."
"I thought Ultron was a fantasy" Bruce chuckled
"Yesterday it was" Tony started but was interrupted by Juliet
"I want no part of this, I told you Ultron didn't seem like a smart idea. I still stand by that"
"But Juliet!"
"No, Tony, Bruce, I'm going now" She announced, leaving the lab.
