"Stark is, he's a sickness!" Ultron ranted about,
"Ah, Junior" Tony blurted in, making Juliet side eye her brother from beneath her mask, "You're gonna break your old man's heart"
"If I have to. I'll get rid of her too" Ultron insisted looking at the siblings
"Damn what did I do?" Juliet mumbled
"No body has to break anything" Thor said
"Clearly, you've never made an omelet" Ultron fired back
"He beat me by one second" Tony said, looking at Juliet who stifled a laugh
"Ah yes, he's funny" Pietro said, breaking the brief silence, "Mr. Stark. It's what? Comfortable? Like old times?"
"This was never our life" Juliet stepped in
"You two can still walk away from this" Steve said
"Oh we will." Wanda answered,
"I know you've suffered" Steve continued
"Captain America" Ultron laughed, "God's righteous man. Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth but..."
"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it" Thor spoke
"I think you're confusing 'peace' with 'quiet'." Ultron said in response
"Uh-huh. What's the vibranium for?" Tony questioned
"I'm glad you asked that." Ultron said, "because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan." he fired at Tony and the two took off to the air to fight. Leaving the others to take care of anyone else
While Natasha fought with guys coming in from sides, Clint took higher ground firing arrows. Pietro acted fast with attacking the Avengers however. Juliet rose up, looking for Wanda and Pietro.
"Stay down kid" Steve said, pushing Pietro
"It's time for some mind games" and that was Wanda's cue to do what she had done best
"Guys? Is this a code green?" Bruce asked but got nothing in response
Wanda reached Thor first,
"Thor. Status" Steve said
"The girl tried to warp my mind" Thor said, "Take special care, I doubt a human could keep her at bay. Fortunately, I am mighty" but Wanda's powers worked on Thor no issue
She then reached Steve, and the Natasha, she went for Clint who stunned her right away.
"I've done the whole mind control thing. Not a fan"he said before Pietro pushed him
"Yeah you better run" Clint said, "Who's ever standing we gotta move" ----------------------------------------------------
Wanda had somehow managed to reach Juliet, perhaps Pietro helping the mask be lifted was the many cause. She worked her magic into Juliet's mind, again.
Back on the plane, everyone sat while Clint flew. Tony was talking to Hill while watching everyone, especially his sister who sat near him shaking. Her mind was running wild. She was stuck reliving her fears, seeing the background and Tony questioning her, seeing her parents.
"What have I done?" she whispered ------------------------------------------------------
They arrived at a Safe House. Clint leading the way, helping Natasha as Tony supported Juliet, everyone else following behind.
"Gentlemen, Juliet, this is Laura" Clint introduced
"I know all your names" she chuckled
"Ooh incoming!" Clint said upon hearing people running, greeting his kids happily
"These are, smaller agents" Tony said, making Juliet nudge her brother
"Did you bring Auntie Nat?" Lila asked
"Why don't you hug her and find out?" Natasha smiled
"Sorry for barging in on you" Steve said
"Yeah. We would have called ahead. But we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony explained
"Yeah well, Fury helped me set this up when I joined." Clint explained to them, "He kept it off SHIELD's files. I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low."
"Honey" Laura said, "I missed you"
"How's little Natasha, huh?" Nat asked
"She's.. Nathaniel" Laura said with a tiny smile
"Traitor" Natasha whispered to her stomach
Thor left looking for answers he'd seen in his dream. Steve himself was still slightly out of it, going for a walk. Laura was checking on Clint. And Tony had sat Juliet down at the table, the girl staring at her feet as she calmed herself. -------------------------------------------------------
