Chapter XIX: Teasings

*1 month later, Y/N's POV*

It's been 1 month since the death of Stain and my mom's arrival to hospital because of that Nomu. During the month I didn't talk much with anyone, didn't feel like it... it made both Alissa and Momo worry... not only her but the whole class. except of course the arrogant guy.

But today was different, today mom was released from the hospital and was coming to our dorm... we agreed that the secret we're hiding should be revealed at least to my classmates. A knock was heard

Mina: "Y/N... can I come in... I just want to talk to you is all..." Now to deal with her... but I can't run away from the confrontation.

You: "Come in, Mina." The doors opened as I looked at her... she was wearing a simple white skirt with a blue t-shirt. "Sit down on the bed." She did so as I returned back to looking out of the window..

Mina: "I heard your mom will arrive today." I didn't look at her as I answered.

You: "Yes, but that's not what you wanted to talk about right?"

Mina: "You're right... I wanted to apologize for what I did back at the Sports Festival."

You: "Yeah that... why did you say that? I don't think I ever did something like that-"

Mina: "No you didn't as far as I know... I just... when you chose Momo over me I was so angry... both at you and Momo so I just... came up with it.... it was the first thing that came to my mind... and I'm so sorry for what I did." She started crying judging by the sobs I heard. "Y-You were always so nice to me and I ruined our friendship like this... I-I didn't think about i-it... n-now I know... I shouldn't be angry a-at you... n-not Momo as w-well... b-but only at myself."

You: "Mina... you broke my trust in you..."

Mina: "I-I know... I just want to be friends with you again... please?" This decision.... how do I approach it?

You: "I don't know Mina, can I be your friend again? Well that depends on how you answer my questions."

Mina: "What are those?"

You: "Did you think about what you did?"

Mina: "Ever since you told me to stop talking to you."

You: "Took you long enough."

Mina: "Y/N-"

You: "Shut it.... now are you truly sorry? And most importantly... do you promise it won't happen again?"

Mina: "I promise... and I do feel really sorry..."

You: "Hmmm.... it's a huge decision for me Mina, you have to understand you broke the bond we had so I have to take some time thinking about my answer... don't worry I will tell you the answer until tomorrow..."

Mina: "Thanks Y/N... for giving me the hope at least."

You: "Don't thank me yet..." The doors bursted open revealing Alissa.

Alissa: "Y/N! Mom is here!" How did I not see her? I'm looking out the window all the time... she's really sneaky!

You: "I was looking out the window all the time!"

Alissa: "She... eh... used the other side to sneak in?"

You: "Probably, well then little sister, shall we go?" I took her hand as she nodded and along with Mina went downstair.

Summer: "Ah here he is."

You: "Hello mom, how do you feel?"

Summer: "I'm great, thank you for asking."
