"Mila baby!" I heard my mom yell from down stairs. I was laying down in my bed, watching some random YouTube videos. I lift my head up, out of my hands."Yes?!" I semi yell, my eyes and mind still focused on the TV.
"That boy Bryson is here!" My eyes widen, and I smile spreads across my face. I instantly get up, speeding down the stairs, dodging open doors in the process. Running my way down the stairs, I slipped, falling the rest of the way down. I mumbled out a 'ow', holding onto my side.
"Damn bae." I heard Bryson's voice, as he tried to control his laughter, but failed letting out a snicker.
I got up off my butt, standing. I look up seeing Bryson and my sister who was laughing extra hard, for no reason. "That's not funny." I glare at both of them, but more specifically at my sister, who is still laughing obnoxiously.
"I'm sorry Kanani." He came to my side, lifting up my chin, looking me in my eyes, with his beautiful brown ones. "You Ight?" He broke eye contact, to look down at my side. I look down seeing i was wearing, a crop top and some shorts. His eyes glued on my side, with concern. My face started heating up, in embarrassment.
"Yea, I guess I was a little too excited." I laughed awkwardly, he nodded looking back up into my eyes. He just stands there with his hand on my chin, while we stand here looking at each other. I here someone cough, making me break away from him.
"Y'all good?" My mom asked, looking at us, well more Bryson than me. We both nod, as she does too, eyeing us, before walking into the kitchen. I hear Bryson let out a breath, causing me to look at him.
"Yo momma scary." He looked Straight ahead, pouting. I giggle, walking over to the couch, plopping down on it. Bryson came and laying on my lap, looking at the TV, which was currently playing Loud House on it.
"So..." he hummed, "Why did you come over?" I continued, making him look at me, before chuckling.
"What, I can't come see ma girl?"
